A/N: this is just a short mini chapter cause why not? Sorry for the slow updates btw 😅
Aera was bored. She couldn't be bothered dancing or practicing, it was too hot for that. She received a message on her phone.
Jae:
Jae:
Heyyo!
Me:
Wassup
Jae:
Nuffin.
I'm bored, can u hang?
Me:
Idk mate. Depends.
Jae::
On what?
Aera left him on read and looked over to her friends who were all sprawled across the floor. Seungmin was jamming out to Wish by DAY6. She smiled.
"Hey, Seungie?" She said. He didn't hear her, still moving his head, and to be honest, with the way he was bopping around, she was sure that it would fall off.
Chan began to laugh.
"Yah! Seungmin!"
Still nothing. Chan, who was just staring off into space earlier, began to laugh.
"Can you take the headphones out of his ears, it's too hot to move." Aera requested.
"Jisung, you're closer, pull out his headphones." Chan said.
Jisung just snored. Jeongin walked in, dancing a little.
"Jeonginnie," Aera looked up at him with puppy dog eyes. "Can you tell Seungmin to look at me, he can't hear us and it's too hot to move."
"Mkay." Jeongin shrugged and tapped his Hyung's shoulder. "Hyungie, Noona is talking to you."
Seungmin carried on with what he was doing, paying no attention to the younger boy at all. Jeongin pouted. He pulled out Seungmin's headphones and screamed into his ear.
"I SAID, NOONA IS TALKING TO YOU!"
Seungmin shrank back, blinking rapidly.
"S-sorry." He stuttered. "What's up Noona."
"Ya see, I was gonna take you to meet Jae from DAY6, but you ignored me," she fake pouted.
"JAE?! OMG NOONA I BEG OF YOU PLEASE TAKE ME!"
Aera began to laugh. "Alright, let me text him real quick."
"How?"
"With my phone?" The older girl quickly sent a few messages to her Sunbaenim. "Alright, let's go."
She groaned as she got up. "It's so hot, he better treat me to ice cream." She mumbled.
Seungmin was in so much awe, that he forgot to close his mouth.
"Close your mouth Hyung," Jeongin told him.

Jae was sitting with his mask pulled up in a small coffee shop, waiting for his friend. It didn't take her long, only about five minutes or so, and behind her was a young boy.
That must be Seungmin, he thought.
Aera quickly made her way over to him, recognizing the shirt he wore.
"Hey guys," the man smiled, showing through his eyes. He took off his mask, they were in a small booth in the corner, so no one would see them anyways.
"Hi." They sat.
"Jae, this is Seungmin, Seungmin, this is Jae." Aera said.
"Nice to meet you Seungmin."
"S-same here." Seungmin was going to lose it. One of the members from his favorite boybands was right there, sitting before him.
"Dude, has anyone told you how much you look like Wonpil? It's scary woah!"
"Thank you?"
"He's great man. Anyways, how are you guys?" Jae asked.
"I'm good. He's freaking out, but that's okay." Aera grinned and Jae laughed.
"I'm just a normal guy, Seungmin, no need to freak out."
"Y-yeah..."
"Alright let's order." Aera said, trying to make the situation as stress free for her friend as possible.
They looked at the menu, ordered some drinks and then continued to talk. Seungmin managed to calm down and engage in conversation with the other two. Time seemed to pass very fast, because in no time, it was three o'clock, and they had met up at around eleven.
"I gotta go now guys, but it was fun meeting up." Jae said. "Hope we can do this again."
"Bye Jae."
They watched him leave and Aera smiled to herself.
"Did you enjoy that?"
Seungmin just hugged her. "Thank you so much Noona. I haven't had that much fun in a long time."
"It's okay. Cmon let's go back, we should train a bit before we call it a day."
"Okay."

We've definitely been inspired because of them, whether we read the book before publishing or after, for we had the idea for a while before realizing that people actually also wrote a book with a ninth SKZ member. So we really want to thank them (if you're reading this and you're one of the authors, thank you so much) because if it wasn't for them, we probably wouldn't have ever published (well like there's a 10 percent chance that we would've but that's beside the point).
