        Amara probably would have choosed to go sky diving (which she was scared of) instead of being in the awkward situation she was in. Michael was currently seated beside her with a huge smile on his lips, ignoring his friends fighting over who got to held the popcorn as he stared; taking in her features. Even as the coffee-coloured girl fidgeted under his stare, she sure didn't show it.

        "Stop looking at me like that." The annoyed girl muttered, trying to forget the fact that he was still staring at her.

        "Just admiring the art in front of me."

        "I already know I'm art, I don't need some boy telling me that." She snapped, rolling her eyes. Amara didn't want some guy - especially Michael Clifford - to tell her all these things just to get to tear off her lace panties (that she wore because they were nice and made her feel like she was worth something).

        "Damn, Amara, I'm just trying to help." And that's when those words that she hated most came out of his mouth.

        Help; he was trying to help her.

        Amara pressed her lips into a firm line, all nervousness slowly turning into anger, and she let one last sentence slip past her mouth before leaving with Ada following closely behind, "Stop wasting your time on saving me when I already saved myself."

        "I feel like shit," Michael complained from his usual place on the couch with Luke wrapped around him, "get me some medicine, Luke."

        Luke shook his head and untangled himself from the pale boy, "Mikey, I don't think this is something medicine can fix. You have a crush." Ashton walked in with a surprised face.

        "MICHAEL HAS A CRUSH?" he exclaimed as he ran to get the tan boy fixing his hair in the bathroom. "Calum - Mikey has a crush!" Which caused the entire group of boys to be shouting and screaming and hugging their mate.

        "I do not have a crush," he pouted.

        "Is it Amara?"

        "I bet it is."

        "So that's why you-"

        "Everybody stop! Yes, I like Amara and no that's not why." The boy with bright hair blushed, cutting of his mate abruptly.

        "I knew it," Luke grinned as if he was the smartest person living, "you always had a thing for smart girls."

        "Like who?" Michael scoffed as he tried to stop turning red.

        "Like your mum."

        "Gross!"

        "I'm just messing with you, Michael." The blond sat up from the couch and slowly made his way to get his phone that was charging in the outlet beside the TV. Calum came in only to wrap his arms around Luke as he shook his head slightly.

        "Out of all girl's, you chose Amara to like? I guess what they say is right - opposites attract." The tanned boy giggled to his red-haired mate.

        "Oh just shut it, will ya?" Michael clapped his hands over his face in attempt to cover his rosy cheeks as he friends continued to tease him.

        "You know you love us, Mikey." Ashton (also known as CURLS) cooed to his younger friend as he tangled his arms around Michael's teasingly.

        "Something like that..." he mumbled as he squinted his green eyes at the screen of Luke's phone, "what is your background pic, Luke?"

        Luke turned bright red as he turned off his phone, "Uh, n-nothing?" Michael raised a pierced eyebrow, motioning to Calum with his eyes to take his phone. Calum reached for Luke's phone, only for it to be snatched away from his reach in a matter of seconds. The blond took off running as the boys chased after him.

        "Get back here, Luke!"

                > i honestly wish this book was the one with 119k reads instead of falling because this book's plot line is more original and definitely better than falling's. the characters' names are unique and this is written so well aswell.
