Two
Walking around this Castle was like trying to find your way through a maze. Honestly a night mare, Dumbledore was by my side a few centimetres in front of me walking like a statue. The only thing on my mind right now was food, I'm starving Harry was bloody terrible at cooking.
He showed me to my dorm and I met my two roommates, Estelle Antla and Sophia George. They seemed like nice enough girls I just really aren't here for a social call. Maybe make one friend but really my mind was set on Tom. AH WAIT I don't even know what he looks like, I imagine him to be sexy, obviously Voldy is bald and has no nose. Hopefully he is sexy because otherwise these events will be very distasteful.
"So Adeline, what brings you to Hogwarts?" Sophia asked politely "A train I believe" I said looking up from my book trying not to laugh at my own joke. Estelle looked at me and then looked at Sophia and burst into laughter, i too laughed along and Sophia just looked like she wanted to hex us both "no I thought a frog did" she said "don't be silly frogs swim in ponds" i said smiling innocently. Sophia grunted and went over to her desk to work on homework.
"How does this school work exactly?" I asked Estelle "well we have seven core classes which include charms, Transfiguration, Potions, History of Magic, Astronomy, Herbology, and Defense Against the Dark Arts." Estelle replied stopping her foot on a lonely bug that wandered in, she twisted it and then scrapped her shoe along the side of the wood floorboards. She then grabbed her wand and muttered a small incantation to clean up the mess.
"What school did you go to early, before this?" Estelle asked looking up from her recent bug problem "didn't, I was homeschooled" I replied shifting in my single bed and fixing the pillow behind me. Sophia was packing up her homework and putting it away in her desk and switched the life off, i said goodnight to the girls and fell asleep thinking about what Tom will look like.
"Adeline" a raspy voice said "Adeline" it repeated "Adeline" it said yet again. I looked around the empty factory for any sign of a figure. In the corner someone emerged, I couldn't see their face but they seemed idly familiar. The shadow came out and suddenly eerie music started playing around me "what the fuck" I said out loud looking around to see where it was coming from. "I am your long lost brother Adeline" he said, I recognised the voice straight away "oh no you couldn't be" I said putting my hand on my forehead and pretending to faint. "I have been looking everywhere for you my wonderful sister" he replied at my side catching my fake fall, he looked at me with his deep blue eyes "oh but I have been hiding from you dear brother, how dare you murder the love of my life." I said clicking my fingers making a Hanky appear into my hand, I touched my eyes delicately wiping away invisible tears.
"Adeline. Where the hell have you been?" The figure asked snapping out of the role play we were in "I could ask you the same thing Casp. 2 months, you were gone 2 months. No phone call, no text not even a fucking email." I scoffed letting go of the hanky I summoned earlier. The hanky slowly drifted closer and closer to the floor but just before it hit the cold concrete, the red and blue handkerchief turned into a small pile of smoke and then ashes that landed in a perfect pile. I looked up from the pile and into my cousins eyes "I- well I was you know. Busy Addy, I met someone."
"Oohh teen summer romance" I said winking "please tell me it got turned into a movie, you know like titanic." I said again hopeful "no Addy, but I have to tell you something." He said looking scared "go on." I encouraged "I'm gay" he said simply squinting his eyes to see my reaction. I burst into tearful laughter and clutched my stomach falling on my knees for effect "Why are you laughing?" He said sadly "I know Casp. I'm not blind and I'm not an idiot, remember when we went into that movie...what was the name? Kill your darlings yes that's it. The way you looked at Lucien, let me just say woah." I said getting up from my knees smiling "I love you" he said a tear falling down his cheek "I know" (nah nah nah Charlie and Dean vibes)
"Now where the fuck are you?" He said after our moment smacking me on the Shoulder. "Uhmmmm Hogwarts in... 1944" I said trying to look as innocent as possible. "WITHOUT ME? YOU BITCH" he screamed as I tried not to laugh "I was helping Harry Potter out" I said shrugging my shoulders "WHAT!! THE HARRY POTTER. You the one I'm basically in love with?" He screeched at me "damn alright you can come here but it's only my second day and I haven't even started my mission. So you can sit your ass at home and wait for my call." I said sternly staring right into his eyes.
"Okay Mother" he replied. I went in to hug him and my hearing and sight went black.
I took a deep breath in and bolted awake "woah there you good Adeline?" Estelle asked concerned "fine. What time is it?" I asked pulling my hair out of the low bun it was in. "We were just about to head out for breakfast" she replied fixing her hair in the mirror "I'll meet you down there, just let me get changed" I said pulling myself out of bed. Estelle and Sophia left shutting the door, I used my hand to straighten out my hair and swooshed my finger over my face and a full face of makeup appeared. Then I spun for a dramatic effect, just because no one else sees doesn't mean I don't, When I spun my pyjamas turned into a the uniform. I looked in the mirror satisfied opening the door with a wave of my hair strutting out.
The halls were empty and that was surprising for a castle filled with, how many students? im not awake enough for this. i vaguely remember Dumbledore saying where the great hall was so if get lost blame the author because shes too lazy to write a whole description on her thoughts and what she sees. ANYWAY, i want this mission to go as fast as possible because frankly it's been 24hours and i miss Netflix and my king sized, comfy mattress. After walking cluelessly for five minutes i finally made it to the large doors that belong to the great hall. i opened them and the first step in was memorising, there was no roof and it was replaced by magic and I would describe it but the author is lazy and whoever is reading this probably already knows what the great hall looks like. There were candles floating above each seat where the students are supposed to sit and the school banners on the sides. I looked over to the Gryffindor table to look for my roomates and i see Estelle sitting with other Gryffindors ive never seen before. Watching where im walking i walk over to her and sit down, they are already mid conversation so i don't interrupt them.
(Currently writing this it's been like 3 months since I updated last... I know I know oops but like I've had a tough time recently so forgive me pleaseeee lol. This will probably be up within the next week but don't hold me to that, I started school a few weeks ago and have been doing that during the day so haven't had much time to update. Also I'm terribly lazy and get unmotivated really quick PLUS my chapters are like 2k words+ and it takes a bit of time to write that much.)
"Did you see Riddle yesterday?" One of the other Gryffindors asked, my attention span wasn't focusing on the conversation at that point in time and I drifted off staring at the giant doors students kept walking through, as I was day dreaming a group of boys walked through. The only one that peeked my interest was the one with the white button up, perfect brown hair and, using my powers the perfect blue eyes he wore. They aren't blue like Castiels but a lighter more subtle blue, overall though they made him hotter than he already was. I slapped Estelles arm and asked her who he was "oh him well my darling that's Tom Riddle, stay away from him he's bad news" she said and I was silently having a mini panic attack. NO ONE TOLD ME HE WAS THAT ATTRACTIVE, holy mother of god.
I was going to keep going with this chapter and wait till they have their meet-cute but imma leave it here
