I wake up hearing a knock on the door. I sit up and look around seeing Chase asleep next to me. The person knocked on the door but louder this time. I get up with a sigh and make my way to the door. I open the door and see a lady standing there with Alexa and Trey. "Who are you?" She asked with attitude
“Hi I’m y/n I’m guessing your Stacy.” I say with a smile.
“Not that it’s any of your business but yes. Where's Chase?” She says trying to look into the apartment
“Uh he’s sleeping let me go wake him up.” I say closing the door.
I walk into the room and shake Chase slightly. “Chase Stacy is here.”
“What day is it?” He asks sitting up
“It’s Friday.”
“The kids are here for the weekend.” He says smiling and stands up
He opens the door and I go into the kitchen to make breakfast. Alexa and Trey come into the kitchen and sit at the table. “Do you guys want some Fruity Pebbles?” I ask
“Yes please.” Trey says and I hand them their bowls
“Where’s your dad?”
“He’s outside talking to mommy.” Alexa tells me
I walk back into the living room and hear Chase and Stacy talking.
“Chase I think we should get back together. It would be better for the kids and I miss you.” She says. Hearing this makes me scared so I walk to the door and look through the crack.
“Sorry Stacy but I’m interested in someone else now.” He says which made me smile.
“You mean that whore.” She says and rolls her eyes.
“Don’t call her that.” He says getting angry
“You can’t seriously like her more then me.” She says and grabs his arm
“Sorry but I’ve moved on.” He says and pulls his arm away from her turning around to come back in.
“Wait Chase.” She says
“What.” He says and turns around. She pulls him toward her and kisses him. His eyes go wide and he pulls away from her. “Stop it Stacy I already told you I moved on and so should you.”
He turns away and goes to the door so I hurry back into the kitchen. He walks in and sits down at the table next to me. We all finish eating and Chase puts all our bowls in the sink. “Why don’t you guys go watch tv while I talk to y/n.” Chase says
“Ok daddy.” Alexa says and they sit on the couch
“Can we talk in the room please?” He asks
“Of course.” I say and we walk into the room
We sit on the bed in silence for a minute until Chase sighs. “Can I ask you something?” He asks and looks at me
“Can I say something first?” I ask
“Of course.”
“I saw you and Stacy talking. Once the kids came inside I gave them breakfast and went to go tell you it was time to eat but then I heard what you were talking about so I started to watch.” I say looking down
“What all did you see?” Chase asked
“Well I started to listen when Stacy said you should get back together and up until she kissed you.”
“I swear that kiss meant nothing to me. Please forgive me.” Chase says and grabs my hand
“It’s ok Chase I know you didn’t know she was going to do that. So you had something to ask me.”
“Yea it’s about us. I wanted to know if you wanted to be my girlfriend.” He asks looking down
“Of course I want to be your girlfriend.” I say smiling
“Real?” He asks and looks up at me.
“Yea why wouldn’t I want to be?”
“Thank god you said yes.” He says and kisses me. We go back into the living room and watch some tv with Alexa and Trey.
