chapter 1: First day at Hogwarts

"Y/n! Sweetie! It's time to get up!" you heard your mom shout as you slowly woke up. Today was your first day for a lot of things. First day of school, First day at a different school, First day with a new enviormennt and people. You groaned as you got out of bed and checked the time. it was 7:30 am. you groaned again and went into the bathroom to do your morning rutine. "Cant belive its already the first day of school, summer literally left like that" you said as you were washing your face. You went downstairs and saw your mom and dad sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. "Hello sweetheart!" your mother says joyfully. Your parents went to hogwarts when they were your age, your dad was a Gryffindor and your mom was a Slytherin. They are both purebloods which makes you a pureblood as well. You loved your parents so much but sometimes they can get really over protective which kind of annoyed you but they were just being parents worrying about your saftey. "Do you want anything to eat?" your dad says. "No thanks Im not really hungry" you say. "Come on, you gotta eat something, you need all the energy for school!" your mom says. "No really its ok Ill probably eat when I get to school anyway. Im gonna go get changed, Ill be right back" you say looking at both your parents. "We'll be here!" your dad says. You go upstairs and look at the time again to see how much longer. "Damn already 8:30?! The train leaves at 9:30!" you shout to yourself as you speed walk to your closet to find something to wear. "Oh my god nothing really presentable! Screw it ill just wear my hoodie and jeans." You put on a white hoodie and dark blue jeans with rips to only expose your knees. You dont really like make up so you just put on some mascara then brush your teeth. Luckily, you packed your trunk last night beofre you went to bed so you didnt have to do it in the morning. You double check to make sure you have everything. You have everything and take one last look at your room. "See ya later" you say outloud as you picked up your trunk and shut the lights and door. You go downstairs and see that its 9:00. You go in the kitchen and see your parents arent their but then you realized they were actaully at the door already waiting to leave. "You look great sweetie. Are you ready to go?!" your mom says excited. "Better than ever." you say to your mom as you gave both your parents a soft smile. You guys all walked out the door shut it, locked it, got in the car then you were on your way.

You guys got to the train station and looked for the wall that leads to 9 3/4. You guys finally got to the wall."Ok so, all you have to do is just run through it ok?" your dad says to you. "y-yeah" you say very nervously but also excited. "Everything ok honey?" your mom says. "Yeah just a bit nervous but ill be ok" you say. You gave your mom and dad a big hug before you ran through the wall. "I love you guys! ill miss you both so much!" you say as you let go of hugging them. "Ill miss you terribly sweet heart but promise me youll right to us?" your mom says. "Of course i will!" you say. you gave them a final wave good bye then you ran into the wall. "Wow" you whisperd to yourself. Their were so many kids, different ages, it was so pretty and magical. You got onto the train looking for a spot to sit. Then, you hear someone calling you. "Hey! You! Come sit over here with us!" You turn around and see this young girl calling you with two other boys. You realize one of the boys had a scar on his head. "thats intresting" you say in your head. You walk over and go sit with them. They looked like they were a year below you. "You must be the new girl!" the young girl says. "Yup thats me!" You say smiling. "Im Hermione Granger this is Harry and Ron!" she says very joyfully. "Nice to meet you guys! Im y/n l/n" you say. "Pleasure to meet you the 3 of them say at the same time which made you all laugh. You were happy you were already making friends. As the train started moving the 4 of you started talking. "So I heard you transfered here from Ilvermorny right?" Harry says. "Yup" you say with a smile. "What was it like there?" Ron asks. "It was ok it wasnt that fun but my professors and friends were really nice. I had good marks in every class so im hoping that wont change here" you say. "Well at least you got good marks!" Hermione says. "Yup!" you say with a light smile. "What was your best class?" Hermione asks. "Potions" you say. "Well thats good because the potions professor here isnt so nice." Hermione says as she rolls her eyes. "Im sure he cant be that bad" you say. "No trust her he really isnt the best person but who knows he may favor you if you had good marks in potions" Harry says. "Guess ill just have to see when we get their" you say. "What houses are you guys in?" you ask. "Gryffindor" they all say at the same time. You all chuckled. "Thats cool" you say with a smile. "Did anyone from your family go to Hogwarts?" Ron asks. "Actually yeah my mom and dad came here my mom was a Slytherin and my dad was a Gryffindor and theyre both purebloods" you say as the three of their faces went in shock. "Wow would never expect a slytherin marrying a gryffindor" Harry says. "Yeah i know but its really making me wonder what house ill get into" you say kind of nervously. "Well its most likely gonna be gryffinfor or slytherin" Hermione says. "Yeah i wont worry about it to much though" you say. Then you guys finally arrived at Hogwarts. You guys got off the trian and you were absolutley amazed at what you saw. "Oh. My.God" you whisper to yourself at a complete lost of words. It was so beautiful. Your parents were actually good friends with Dumbledore and youre dad told you that a guy named Hagrid will be taking you into the school personally and that he was very easy to regonize. "Well guys thank you so much for letting me sit with you guys, you guys really made me feel welcomed hopefully ill see you guys soon!" you said with a smile. "of course y/n it was great to meet you! We hope you like it here! See ya around!" Hermione said joyfully as she walked away with Harry and Ron. You saw this big hairy man come up to you. "Hello! Are you miss y/n l/n?" he says. "Yup thats me!" you say with a smile. "Wonderful! Im Hagrid. Dumbledore informed me that ill be taking you into the school so you can meet the professors and get sorted into you house." he says. "Sounds good to me!" you say really excited. You and hagrid walked to the castle and talked on the way just about the same things you talked about with Harry, Hermione, and Ron on the train. You guys fianlly got to the castle. "Well miss l/n it was great to talk to you and get to know you. If you ever need anything dont be afraid to stop by my house it is on school grounds so you can come anytime." he says with a soft smile. "Thank you so much for bringing me here so far im really liking here and dont worry i will visit" you say with a smile. "Well im glad youre liking it so far" he says. You see a kind of tall man with a white beard approach you and hagrid. "Oh looks like dumbledore is coming. I should get going now. Goodluck y/n ill see ya around" he says with a smile as he gentley pats my back. "See ya aroud hagrid" you say as you return a smile. "Ah, you must be miss y/n l/n, our new student." he says. "Yup thats me. Its a pleasure to meet you sir" you say with a smile "Its a pleasure to meet you as well miss l/n. Come on, lets get inside and get you situated." he says. He opens the big doors and what you see makes you completley shocked. "Damn, this place is hella nice" you say in your head. "Its quite beautiful sir" you say amazed. "Yes it very much so is" he says with a smile. You both enter the Great Hall. It was a long walk way with four long tables for each house and a long table up front where all the professors were seated. "Guys, I would like you to meet miss y/n l/n our new student" dumbledore says. They all clapped and they all gave you a smile. Except for one professor that caught youre eye. He was wearing all black, black hair up to his shoulders, showed no expressions, seems like he as a lot of secrets. He started to stare deep into your soul so you quickly looked away still feeling eyes on you but you just ignored it. You sat at the table with all the professors and they all introduced them seleves. You ended up sitting next to dumbledore and Professor McGonagal. You really liked all the professors they all seem really nice yet to know about the one in all black. You assumed it was the potions professor Hermione was telling you about. You decied to ask dumbledore about him. "Professor um, may I ask who that professor in all black." you say whispering to him as the other professors were talking among themselves. "Oh thats Professor Snape. Hes the potions professor and head of the Slytherin house" he says whispering back as he turns to look at me seeing a little bit of fright in my eyes. "Dont worry miss l/n hes not so bad" he says and you sigh in relief. Within minuets the room started filling up with kids. When everyone was here dumbledore started making a speech. "Hello students, welcome back to hogwarts! As you see we have a new student miss y/n l/n." you stood up so everyone could see you and they all clapped. You saw Hermione, Harry, and Ron they waved at you and you smiled at them. "She was a transfer from Ilvermorny so I hope you guys treat her with respect and make her feel welcomed." He said more things then food magically appeared on the plaits and eveyone started eating. After everyone was done eating and all the kids left it was just you and the professors. "Alright miss y/n follow me and the rest of the professors to my office so we can get you sorted into your house." dumbledore says. You guys left the great hall and you started following the professors. They were walking kind of fast but you managed to keep up. You noticed professor snapes cape and how it flowed in the air because of how fast he was walking. You smiled to yourself by thinking he looks like a superhero almost. You guys got to dumbledores office and you sat down while the professors stood around you. "Alright miss y/n are you ready to find out what house youre in?!" professor mcgonagal said with some excitment. "Never been more ready" you say with a smile and excitment. Professor mcgonagal then put the hat on your head and it started talking

seems like you have a trait for every house but I must pick one....... ah yes better be...... Slytherin!

All the professors clapped their hands and had smiles on their faces. "Congratualations miss y/n for getting into slytherin!" professor mcgonagal said as she took the hat off of my head. "How do you feel about another slytherin snape? It also looks like she had outstanding marks in potions in Ilvermorny" dumbledore asked. "Good about it I suppose...... will see what marks shell get......in my class" snape said. "Damn he has a low voice" you say in your head. "Oh im sure shell be fine" professor mcgonagal said. "Professor snape will show you to the slytherin common room and your dorm. We hope you have a great time here" dumbledore says with a smile on his face. "Thank you all of for making me feel welcome. Have a goodnight you guys." you said with a smile as you left following snape. You followed snape down the different hall ways. He was a really fast walker but you somehow managed to keep up. You finally got to the common room and your dorm. "Here is yur dorm miss l/n.... Ill see you in class tommorow... dont.....be.....late." snape says. You couldnt help but smile but snape obviously didnt return the favor. "Thank you professor, Ill see you in class tommorow. Goodnight professor" you say with a light smile. "Goodnight" he says as he walks away. You enter your dorm and you saw all of your stuff was already their. You didnt get the chace to take a good look at it because as soon as you saw the bed you plopt on to it very tired from everything that happened today. "Lets see what hogwarts is all about" you say outloud with a smile on your face as you fell into a deep sleep.

And thats the first chapter! I have to say its really long i didnt think it would be this much lol. I hope you guys liked it cause it took me a while! Sorry if some spelling was off im not the best speller. This story will get more intresting and better i promise. Please comment and vote! :)
