Once upon a time, five souls created magic together. They called themselves Fab-5. Time and fate scattered them, but love, pain, and loyalty still strung them together in silence... waiting for the music to return.

She had always been calm, composed, and deeply compassionate—qualities that helped her not just as a psychiatrist but also as a wife and mother. She had been treating Manik for five years now, ever since she married Cabir Dhawan, Manik's best friend. Their marriage had been arranged, yet over time, they had become each other's world. Together, they shared a warm home and a mischievous little boy, Abeer, who was the heartbeat of their lives. Though Navya's bond with Manik started professionally, over the years she had come to see him as family—like the brother she never had. She understood his silence, his scars, and his pain more than anyone, and somewhere deep within her, she carried the unwavering hope that one day, he would return to them. Whole. Happy.

Cabir Dhawan

Him on the other hand, was everything loud and lively—except when it came to the silence Manik left behind

Him on the other hand, was everything loud and lively—except when it came to the silence Manik left behind. Once the drummer of Fab-5 and the laughter in every chaos, Cabir had now become a successful producer, running his music company, Melody. But success hadn't healed him. The Cabir who cracked jokes and teased Navya relentlessly was the same man who hadn't met any of his Fab-5 friends in the past two years. He missed Manik deeply—his best friend, his brother in everything but blood. And though he tried to keep the energy alive around his little son and wife, there were moments when his laughter cracked, showing the grief behind it. Only Cabir and a few others knew the truth of what had pushed Manik into darkness... and that truth still haunted him.

Mukti Vardhan

Then there was Mukti Vardhan, the firebrand of Fab-5. A tomboy with a voice louder than her guitar, Mukti had always been a fierce force of nature. But time had mellowed her storm. She now channeled her passion into Heartbeats, an NGO that worked for trauma victims, quietly making a difference in the lives of many. What remained unchanged was her deep affection for Manik, whom she loved like a brother. Mukti hadn't seen any of the Fab-5 members in the last two years, but she never let a day pass without thinking of them. Like Cabir, she too knew why Manik had slipped away. And though she buried it deep, a quiet ache pulsed in her heart—a longing to see him smile again. Interestingly, her NGO had a mysterious co-founder, someone she had never met, who supported her vision anonymously. The identity of that person was a mystery that strangely comforted her.

Aliya Vedant

The dazzling barbie doll of Fab-5, was now a celebrated fashion designer and the proud owner of Casting Pearls. She was married to her long-time love, Dhruv Vedant, though their relationship was anything but calm. They fought endlessly, bickered like teenagers, but beneath it all, Alya loved him madly. Her glamorous exterior, however, hid a painful truth. She had once called Manik "Bhai"—her big brother—and had adored him like family. But now, a part of her soul carried the burden of guilt. She knew the reason for his suffering, and even though Dhruv often told her it wasn't her fault, the guilt refused to let go. Alya hadn't seen anyone from Fab-5 except Dhruv for two years, and maybe that distance was her way of punishing herself. She wanted Manik to heal, to forgive... not just her, but himself too.

Dhruv Vedant was the quiet anchor in this whirlwind of emotions. Always the calm, soft-spoken one, Dhruv had been Fab-5's guitarist and Manik's closest confidant. Now, he led The Beats, his own choreography team that had made a name for itself in the entertainment world. He stood by Alya through her emotional storms, trying to convince her that sometimes, destiny played its cruel games and no one could be blamed. Though he too missed his friends and the golden days of Fab-5, Dhruv held on to hope. He believed that someday, they would find their way back to each other, and Manik would once again be the soul of their music.

In the midst of all this was a tiny storm named Abeer Dhawan. At just three years old, he was a perfect replica of his father Cabir—funny, loud, and endlessly curious. He had an uncanny ability to irritate his mother in the same way Cabir did, and together, father and son made the perfect mischief duo. While he was too young to understand what had happened to "Big Baby Manik," he often climbed into Manik's lap, babbling stories, laughing in his unique way—offering comfort without even knowing it. Little did anyone know, Abeer's innocent love would become one of the quiet sparks that could someday light the darkness in Manik's heart.

Fab-5 was no longer whole.
Their band hadn't played together in years. Their laughter had grown faint, replaced by guilt and pain. But love—love had never left. Each of them carried Manik in their hearts like a rhythm that never faded.

They all knew the reason he had broken.
They all blamed themselves in one way or another.
They all longed for his return.

And fate... had begun its work.

The strings that once sang had been silent too long.
But the music wasn't gone.
Just waiting.
Waiting to return...
When Manik would be ready to listen again.
