(Awesome song to listen to while reading this Chapter)
"I...I guess I could help. But if it gets too bad t-then I'm out." Rupert stuttered.
Cole and Silvia let out a sigh of relief. It was getting late, so they went back to their own beds and slept. The next day their parents came to pick them up at the hospital.
As Silvia and her mother drove home her mother asked: "Are you going to tell me what you were doing at the forest?"
"I....I don't really remember. One minute I was at the police station-"
Silvia's mother cut her of "YOU WERE WHERE!?"
"The police station..." Silvia mumbled a reply.
"What the HELL were you doing there at 5 am?" Mrs. Parker said furiously.
"I- I can't really tell you mom..." Silvia replied guilty.
"So now my own daughter can't tell me stuff?! This town is turning into a huge mess. The least you can do is to tell me the truth! Tell me what happened or-"
"OKAY FINE MOM! I was with Cole and Rupert-"
"Well duh!" Mrs. Parker interrupted, getting more annoyed by the second.
"-and we just had a nightly stroll. We all couldn't sleep. So we walked past the police station, and towards the woods. Cole tripped on some sticks and rocks and fell. So as we were bringing him home , suddenly a branch hit us in the face, and boom! Everything went blanc." Silvia finished her story.
Silvia knew she should not lie to her mother, but she did not want to get her involved in this mess. She needed to figure this mystery out without the help of her parents.
Her father was too busy with his job to care and was mostly out of town. Her mother...she was too stressed.
Her mother sighed. How could her child do something so stupid.
'She needs to be punishment' her mother thought."Well...WHAT WERE YOU THINKING", her mom finally said.
"I-"
"Ugh! You know what?! No more going out after 8pm!""COME ON MOM!!!!!!! I will not do it again I promise!"
"Well I'm not changing my mind! That is my final decision."
They finally arrived home. Silvia sprinted out of the car, and ran upstairs to her room. She fell face down on her bead."Ugh!!!!!!!"
For the rest of the day Silvia wrote about her experience from the past two days.
'We walk on the empty road. The mist hanging low, our bodies freezing. We arrived at the Police station but the doors were locked. The security cameras were still on.-'
"Hey honey. I'm going to the mall. Do you want anything?"
It was Silvia's mother. Mrs. Parker felt bad for yelling at her daughter.
"Um... Oh I know! A life without a freaking curfew!" Silvia replied
without looking at her mother. Her mother sighed and left the house. Mrs. Parker started the car and drove.
She hates lying to her daughter.
But she was doing this for her own good. Mrs. Parker did her shopping and she sat in her car and waited in the parking lot. Finally the sky turned dark. Mrs. Parker started her car and drove to the police station. She parked her car behind the bushes and waited for the final car to leave the police station parking lot.
Now was her chance . She started to walk out of the bushes and to the front of the police station. She stopped when she saw the active security cameras. She took out her gun that she bought at the store, and shot the lenses on the cameras. It broke with a loud BANG!
Her mother put on her black ski mask and stepped closer to the door. She took out the knife, which was safely tucked in her tall black boots, and stabbed the knife through the glass door.It made a huge crack in the door. Mrs. Parker kicked the rest of the remaining glass onto the floor and stepped through the opening. She walked straight to the security room, containing the camera history.
Mrs. Parker quickly searched for the camera history of the day before yesterday. She saw how her daughter spray-painting the cameras.
Mrs. Parker was in shock. She quickly copied the video onto her USB drive. Then she erased all the evidence of her being there. Mrs. Parker rushed out of the station and climbed into the car.
She started to drive home, a thousand thoughts running threw her head. She suddenly saw a figure in the middle of the road. The figure did not move out of the way.
Mrs. Parker hit the brakes. She stopped and as she was about to climb out of the car the figure looked up with an evil smirk. The figure looked like it had a orange jacket on.
The figure held out his hand and flicked it upwards and...
SILVIA POV
Silvia was starting to get worried. Her mom did not return yet
The sky was already dark, and her mother was still not here. Silvia was just about to call her mother, when there was a knock on her window.
Silvia frowned and walked to her window. It was...
"Cole? what are you doing here?"
"Well...You seemed down when we left the hospital, so I thought that it would be a good idea to see if my best friend is okay...""That's s-"
Silvia was cut off by a loud BANG!
