"I would like a large strawberry milkshake please," Silvia said to her waiter. She and Rupin were sitting at the town's diner, Khoi's. The young waiter nodded his head.

"And what could I get for you sir?" asked the waiter directing the question to Rupin.

"Just a large vanilla milkshake," Rupin said. The waiter nodded her head and walked away to get their shakes.

"So...of all the places you could have taken me you chose this...green café?" Rupin asked raising an eyebrow. Silvia scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"It's not a café, it's a diner!" Silvia said.

"What's the difference?" Rupin said raising his left eyebrow.

"Well! A café is...Smaller! And sells cake and stuff..."

As if on cue, a waitress walked past them with a big slice of dark chocolate cake. Rupin looked at her with a smirk and Silvia rolled her eyes. She then changed the subject.

"Well, this diner's name is Khoi's. And it is my favourite! I come here for inspiration. Not to mention they have the best Milkshakes I ever had!" Silvia said crossing her arms over her chest.

"You said you came here for inspiration. I assume it's for your writing." Rupin asked. Silvia had told Rupin about how she liked to write.

"Yes, you're correct. Actually, this is the place everything starts and ends." Silvia said.

"I don't understand..." Rupin replied

"Well looks like you aren't as smart as you think you are!" Silvia said with a smirk

Rupert just sighed and rolled his eyes motioning with his hands just to go on and tell him.

"Well, umm let me think of an example. OH! My Grandmother and Grandfather! My Grandfather was the new guy in town when they were young. He came here and he met my grandmother! Eventually, they became the best of friends and my grandfather proposed right here!" Silvia said with amazement.

"Wow, sounds like they had a cute little love story. So what type of stories do you write?" Rupin asked.

"Well I don't just write in one specific genre but I do enjoy reading mystery, horror and fantasy," said Silvia.

"So... basically Harry Potter?" Rupin said, his smirk not leaving his face.

"No not just Harry Potter, although I do love those books. There is an entire world of stories to explore!" Silvia said with wonder.

"Well I don't really read that much, so whatever. So just to be clear...This is where you saw those police cars on their way to the woods?" Rupin asked.

"Um yes, that's right..." Silvia said not wanting to think of how the mess began. She always wanted an interesting story. She always wished for an interesting story. But she wasn't expecting a mess. It was like the universe told her 'Your annoying us! Here is the most stressful story to write about. Be careful what you wish for!'

"Here are your milkshakes." said the waiter setting the milkshakes on the table. Silvia and Rupin said their thanks and the waiter left.

"So...how are the school and people here?" asked Rupin trying to lighten up the mood. School, as in no plural. The town was so small boring, that it only had one High school: Cloud High.

"Well, school is boring. We have basketball, netball, theatre, and many other sports. But, I mean, it's school. There isn't much. You have a few good people, including my friends." Silvia said.

"Well, tell me about the people who you call friends," Rupin said.

"Well, we have Rupert..." Silvia told Rupin about her friends. To how they look like and what their personalities are. Silvia loved bragging about her friends and how they are always there for her. She loved her friends with all her heart.

"Do you trust them?" Rupin asked.

"Yes of course I do!" Silvia said a little too quickly. Rupert raised an eyebrow.

"Well, if I were you I wouldn't," Rupin said, suddenly looking very interested in his thick milkshake.

"Why wouldn't you?" SIlvia said confused by his sudden statement.

"I just won't. I learned not to trust a long time ago..."Rupin said.

"Well, I can trust these people! I knew most of them all my life. Besides don't you trust me?" Silvia asked.  How could a person live without trust?

"Well, I feel like if you trust them so much why aren't they here when you need them the most? That's one of the reasons I don't trust easily. But..." Rupin suddenly paused.

"But?" Silvia asked, trying to make him talk again.

"But nothing. Forget about it." Rupin said, looking out of the window.

"You still need to answer my question. Do you trust me?" Silvia asked, still eager to know.

"Parker, I told you it's hard to trust. But you were there when I needed help. So I guess, I trust you a little more than I should trust a stranger." Rupin said with a small chuckle.

Before Silvia could answer to that statement, the door of the diner opened and the freezing cold winter air rushed in the diner. There in front of the now closed door stood a familiar figure. Cole was looking around the diner, looking for something. Or someone. Cole and Silvia made eye contact. Cole quickly rushed over to Silvia and tackled her into a big hug.

"Oh my gosh, I was so worried," Cole said, still hugging. Poor Silvia was trying to breath. She looked at Rupin, with pleading eyes. He seemed to understand.

"Hey..um bro? You might wanna let her go before she dies." Rupin said.

"Oh yeah sorry. Now, what were you thinking?! I had to be alone in that awkward situation! My dad was busy talking to his men behind the broken car. And I was lonely. Well, I was lonely until this weird dude came and started asking questions about you and his- wait who is this?" Cole rambled.

"Hi Cole, it's nice to see you too. Ok, first: I'm sorry for running away like that. Second: This is my new friend Rupin. I met him in the forest. He was there to calm me down." Silvia said calmly.

Rupin stuck out his hand for Cole to shake, but Cole just glared at him and ignored his hand. An awkward silence followed. Silvia was the one to break it.

"Well, Cole, you were talking about the guy you were talking to. What was his name?" Silvia went full detective mode. Cole was her best friend, and this man sounded a bit shady.

"Well his name was Sharp I think and he was wearing this black hoodie. So I couldn't see his face." Cole said.

The name triggered something in Silvias brain. Suddenly, she was on the forest floor, limbs numb. She could hear a deep voice saying: "And this is my...assistant, Sharp." She could not see the figure who said it. She saw red dripping from her arm. Her vision blurred and she screamed in pain. Where am I? How did I get here? What's happening?

"SILVIA!" Someone yelled to her face. It felt soft and distant.

"SILVIA!!!" the voice yelled again, sounding closer. Something cold collided with her face.

Suddenly she was back at the diner, her face soaking wet with water and facing Rupin. His eyes were full of worry. Cole was looking at her with a worried look on his face.

"W-what just happened?" Rupin asked.

"This happened before, at the hospital," Cole said. "She remembered something from that night."
