Subject: Issa's Weekend (and sem-break) whereabouts (Oct. 24 to 29, 2003)Hello Daddy (and Mommy),
I'm sorry for this very late email, and for this late update. I ran out of time last weekend to send you an email of my whereabouts I hope it did not worry you too much.
My updates are outlined below I tried to make this email short and concise as possible =)
1. I already have a cellphone - don't worry it is just a second hand one, and I was able to make an arrangement with my new friend Yoana that I will be paying it by installment. Although Mommy did not quite approve me buying a second hand one, I think this will be good for now as I really wanted to save some money
2. I went to the Villa and the Farmhouse - - this is unplanned and urgent. Yna called me and told me about my erroneous birth certificate that I had to, well, correct. Auntie Pita was very kind to help me in filing the request. I was told to prepare all the records with my name Alyssa and send it to the municipal registrar by December. To help speed up the process we needed the help of Auntie Pita's friend who works in the municipal Hall.I was not able to email you or text you because I was basically at the farmhouse the whole time. When I arrived at the villa I helped Auntie Pita in decorating the house for Christmas since she will be very busy in the farm for the next few weeks and it will be Christmas in less than no time.
Don't worry Daddy, and Mommy, all bills and payments for the unit and the utilities were already settled. Tomorrow I will be at the university for enrolment, if I finish early I might drop by RCM High to get request for Form 137, and might drop by our Pediatrician's clinic and Dental clinic to request for some medical certifications with my correct name.
I am also pondering if I will be accepting my Professor's offer to be a member of the debate team. I think I am too weird for that, I mean I think my ideas were always weird and I'm afraid people will just be laughing at it.
I will update you soon.
—Love lots, Issa
P. S. : Lolo gave each of me and Yna a box. I have hardly checked what were the contents of my box. I brought these with me to Manila. Yna might drop by and I will have her take a look at hers. I just feel utterly frustrated that my missing baptismal certificate (yes I found it inside my box) which I will be submitting as evidence to the civil registrar was super damaged by Lolo's handwriting and drawing. I wanted to feel mad at him, sorry Mommy but I really hated him so much now for doing it. I hope Auntie will help me find a way to fix it.
