Two weeks till school starts. Two weeks! Its been like a week since I last hung out with Ethan and Grayson. So much for hanging out more often. Ok, just kidding, its not their fault. I’m just like super busy. I went to basketball camp and orchestra camp. Yes, I’m in orchestra. I play the violin. We’ve talked on the phone and stuff but its always nice talking in person. Anyways, today I’m going back to school shopping. Supply shopping is alright, I just don’t like clothes shopping. Its weird, I know.
“Ross, Casey! We’re going!”, my mom called. We all got into the car. It was my parents in the front, Kimmy and Harper in the middle and me and Ross in the back. It is so hard sitting in the back with him cause he’s like 6 ft! When we got to the mall, my dad and Ross go to the guy section, my mom, Harper and Kimmy go to the little girls section, since Harper’s starting pre-school and I walk into Forever 21. As I’m walking around, I get a snap chat from Grayson. I open it and its Grayson’s face right up against the camera with the caption saying hi. I giggled a little. I sent him one back that was a picture of the mall floor with caption saying hi. Grayson sends one back of him poking Ethan and the caption saying I wanna see your pretty face. I almost died. My whole face turned red. I walked around and picked some clothes. I sent one back with a caption saying in a little bit. After I bought my stuff, my mom called me. “Hey sweetie, are you all done?” “Yeah, I’m walking out the store right now”, I answered. “Can you please come to Children’s Place to help me?” “Sure I’ll be right over.” “Ok! Thank you.” I start my way to Children’s Place. I hear a familiar voice call my name. “Yo, Casey!”, I turn around and its the one and only Grayson Dolan. I have like the biggest smile plastered on my face. I start walking towards him when suddenly 10 squealing girls run up to him asking for pictures and stuff. Woah! What is this? I stand off to the side waiting for Grayson to be done with whatever was happening. I could not look any more awkward. This old lady walks pass the group and then comes up to me, “I’m sorry”, she said with a very sympathetic look. I just look at her. Ok lady, whatever. After about 5 minutes, the group of girls leave. “Wow, what was that?”, I asked, laughing. “Its like they think you’re famous or something.” Grayson chuckles a little. “Well that’s cause I am.” “Wait, what?”, at this point, I’m super confused and probably sounding like an idiot to Grayson. “Yeah, I’m a viner”, Grayson said. Well thats helpful! What the heck even is that?!?! “Umm, I’m sorry, but I have no idea what that is.” “Oh well, vine is an app where you can post 6 second videos. Me and Ethan are both famous on it”, Grayson kindly explained. “Hmm, that’s cool. I should get it.” How much of an idiot do I sound like? Ugh! “Anyways, what are you doing here?”, I asked. “My mom wanted me to get clothes for school. You?” “Saaaame. I’m actually on my way to see my mom”, I said, while we were walking towards the store. My phone rings, it was my mom. “Hmm, speaking of...” “Hey where are you?”, my mom asked. “I’m on my way, I just ran into Grayson.” “Cool, but we’re all at Dick’s.” “Ugh, alright.” That’s nice. The store on the other side of the freaking mall. “Is everything alright?”, Grayson asked. “Yeah, I just have to go to Dick’s.” “Oh, I’ll walk with you, I’m headed there anyways.” Yay, we’re walking together.
When we got to Dick’s I saw my family. "Yoooo! Bruh", Ross said walking to Grayson. They did a weird bro handshake. What was that? Oh my god. I start laughing. Grayson, Ross and my parents start talking. "Hiiii", I said while kneeling down do Harper. "What'd you get?" "I got a bagback wid pink lines and a dress wid flowers", she said, while mispronouncing every single word and really fast. She's so cute. She smiled at me and started talking to Kimmy. After about 15 minutes, everyone was done and it was time to go. "It was really nice seeing you again. Sorry about not seeing you for that whole week, I was really busy", I said to Grayson. "Oh don't worry about it. I was pretty busy too. Do you want to hang out, you know, later today?", Grayson asked. I started blushing. "Umm, I'll try. I'm actually going over to Shiloh's for a couple hours but if we can't I'll call you", I said while walking away. "Ok well, bye", he said while smirking. "Bye", I said, smiling.
