The Truth

"Shall We continue?" Liam whispers. You Nod.
"Just to make this simple...we uh. Yes. We are blood bonds." Liam sighs.
You intake a sharp deep breath. Wow. What would've happened if he hadn't turned you? Would you never have found your soulmate?

"We also must...Erm, bond before the blood moon." He whispers, looking down. You look up quickly. What!? There's a time limit!?
"Uh what!? When is that?" You say, attempting to stay calm.
Liam clears his throat. "Uh.. Itsthreenightsaway." He says quickly. Your eyes widen. What!? "Uh...can you repeat that..slowly?" You say nervously. "It's in three days'" he mumbles.
You slowly turn away, walking down stairs. Three nights from now...you'll have to lose your virginity to someone you've only known for a few weeks.
"Wait, jade." Liam says, swiftly catching up with you. "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable around me. I-it has to be done. The blood moon is every vampires birthday. Once we reach a certain age without bonding...what's left of our hearts will wear away. The mate is what keeps the last trace of feelings we have within us." Liam says. You look down. So if you don't do this...Liam will die.

"I'm sorry. I know you haven't found love for me yet, bu-"
"What? I-I never said I didn't love you."
"It's obvious jade. I know you have the feelings..but I know you're not ready for something like this." He says before slumping upstairs.

"Liam." You mumble. Within seconds, he is in front of you. "Yes." He whispers.
"I'll do it...," you say, looking at your feet.
"W-what?" He says. "I'll do it. You don't deserve to die. And...Sophia's gone. Nothing can ruin it now." You say.
Liam smiles brightly. "Okay." He says. He cups your cheek, gently bringing you in for a kiss. "I'll make everything perfect." He says into the kiss.
