What's A Dinner Among Family?

Jenna swallowed as she pulled the silver pan of Macaroni and Cheese out of the oven. Sitting it down on the stove as she looked at it. She swallowed deeply and loudly. Just looking at it. Looking at it hard. Almost like it would disappear. Brantley walked into the kitchen rubbing on his beard. 

Holy shit. He groaned reaching for a small plate. That smells awesome he muttered. Grabbing a spoon out of the utensil container. Only for Jenna to snatch it from him with her lightning reflexes. Hey! He yelled. Jenna smirked at him. First off! I know it smells amazing she laughed. I made it! Secondly.. This is for tonight. You can eat it right along when everyone else does. At the rehearsal dinner right along with everyone else. She dropped the spoon back into the container looking at him with a smile.

24 hours.. They were finally 24 hours away from their Wedding Day!! Jenna never thought she would see the day. But here it was. Tomorrow at 3:30 in the afternoon they would be exchanging their vows in front of 100 closest family and friends. 

Today though? Today they ate and today they practiced. Today they were all meeting over at Brantley's dad and step mom's. They were going to do a quick walk through of what they pictured their wedding to be. Then they were going to have dinner as the dysfunctional family they would come to be as Brantley called them. Then after dinner Jenna would be on her way to her parents. Alone.. The next time she would see Brantley was when she was walking down the aisle towards him. 

Jenna walked over to him wrapping her arms around his torso and standing on her tip toes with a smile. Brantley smiled as he looked down at her. He tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear. She puckered her lips with a giggle as he kissed them. The two stood like that. Barefoot in the middle of their kitchen. Wrapped around one another. Kissing. Brantley pulled away with a smile.

Yes? Jenna giggled. I'm starving he muttered against her lips with a laugh. Jenna shook her head. Yes of course coming up..
