[Tay's POV]

Things have been weirdly okay since Brian's party last week. More importantly, Jess is actually trying to get along with Jenna. I find it a little cute when they geek out about music together during lunch. It's weird to see them having civil conversations. It's even weirder to watch them laugh and talk and joke around with each other like Jenna's just been another person in our group through all of the years. Jordan and Alexa think it's weird, too, but we're all thankful. The less drama, the better.

Another weird thing that I've noticed is that there are rumors going around school about us. Lynn told Alexa that she heard Hayley talking to Alex about how I'm in some hot triangle with Jenna and Jess. Rob told me that he heard someone in his history class swearing up and down that I'm dating Jess and cheating on her with Jenna. They've also heard the reverse rumor of this. I think the most disturbing one that's been brought to my attention is that Jenna was some big player back in Australia and she's just messing with me. That can't be true, can it?

After lunch, Jenna walked me to orchestra as usual. I heard footsteps slapping behind us.

"Wait up!" It was Jess. She caught up alongside Jenna. "You guys wanna hang out at Stephen's after school?"

I gave her an incredulous look. "Both of us?"

"Well, yeah! 'You guys' usually means more than one person, Tay."

"Hush." I replied, rolling my eyes. "But I'm good for it, if it's okay with Jenna?" I looked at her.

"Actually," she started to speak, but I could see a light curtain of rose across her face. "I had plans tonight. They sort of involve Tay, but I hadn't asked her yet."

Her face went blank. "Oh. Well, okay then. I'll catch you guys later!" With that, she sped up and walked into the band room.

"What are you planning over there, Mcdougall?" I playfully nudged her as we approached my class.

"It's a bit of a surprise, actually. Just... I'll let you go home and freshen up, and then I'll come and scoop you up around six. Okay?"

"Okay, sweetheart." She kissed me goodbye and retreated back down the hallway.

I wondered what exactly she was up to... damn Aussies.

"You guys are so gonna do it."

"Oh yeah, dude. Home run!"

"Tay is gonna get luck-ay toniiight!"

I was in Jordan's car with the boys, coming home from school. Shit, did they sure know how to embarrass the hell out of me.

"You guys, grow up. What do you really think her plan is?"

"That's it though!" Jordan exclaimed. "Tay, come on. Special plans? She blushed? You guys have been seeing each other for weeks now. It's going to happen."

Rob chuckled. "Our little girl is growing up, boys."

I could feel the color drain from my face. "You really think that's what tonight is?"

"Well, yeah. What else could it be?"

"I don't know! Just- a special date! No sexy stuff! Not everything is about sex, you guys. Fucking hormonal teenage boys, you are."
