♡9 Months Later♡
Today, I'm having my baby boy with Hyunjin. We argued about whether we should name him in English or Korean. I told Hyunjin that we should just give him two names; one English name and one Korean name. While living in Korea, he can be known by his Korean name. If we ever move to America, he can be known by his English name. I decided to name our baby boy Luke. Hyunjin gave him the Korean name: Hyunjae. In Korean, it is written like this: 황현재(Hwang Hyun-jae). I love the idea of our son being named after an idol I used to love, Hyunjae of THE BOYZ. I know his real name is Jaehyun, but it's still cool.

When our baby boy, Hyunjae, is born he has the features of both his father and I. He is a good mix of both of us. I feel like, as he grows up, he'll grow into his face and become really handsome. If Hyunjin is his father, he will be blessed with those great genetics, just saying. He will also have a good mix of just about everything: European, Southeast Asian, and Korean. In the end, that won't matter, just as long as he loves himself for how he is. We bring Hyunjae back to our apartment. We set up a nursery for him with a really cute crib. At first, we decorated it with cute stuffed toys, but we had to move them because Hyunjae would accidentally suffocate.

A couple months later, Hyunjin decided to enlist into the military early. He thought that if he were to just get it over with, he'll have more time to spend with his family and Stray Kids. Aww, that's actually quite smart of him. He enlisted as an officer of the Korean Army and have joined the ranks. I know my Bubba is ready for this as he was prepping this whole time. He knew it was coming, whether he wanted to or not, he had to go. The day of his enlistment, I bawled my eyes out. Hyunjin looks at me in his full uniform, wiping my tears away, and saying,
"Babe, don't miss me too much. I'll be back after 20 months. About 608 days. You can wait, right?"
"I mean, I'm gonna have to." I said, sniffling.
"Hyunjae, my son. Papa will be back soon." Hyunjin said.
"We'll miss you. See you soon, soldier." I said, properly saluting Hyunjin, holding Hyunjae in the other arm.
"Yes, ma'am." Hyunjin said, saluting back.
"My parents have a military background." I said, winking.
"All Koreans have military background." Hyunjin said.
"Okay, just go. Before I cry even more." I said.
"Okay, I love you." Hyunjin said, kissing me one last time.
"I love you too." I said.
"Love you, Jae." Hyunjin said.

Now, I'm watching Hyunjin jog over to join his rank. They greet their commanding officer with one big "Yes, sir!", in Korean. That is actually fascinating. Seeing what military is like in Korea versus America. It's actually quite similar, they just speak a different language. I have to leave the military base now and go back to my apartment. I am left by myself with Hyunjae, to care for him on my own. At least I have Bang Chan and Felix who don't have to enlist. They can always come over and act as uncles whenever I need them because Stray Kids is put on military hiatus.

♡Approximately 608 Days Later♡
Today should be the day when Hyunjin comes home from the military. Hyunjae is about 2 years old now, and it starting to get quite fussy and moody. Hmm, that was to be expected with the terrible twos. I have decided to unfortunately leave RO5EY because I can't keep up an idol career while also raising a child. Understanding of this, JYP Entertainment wished me well and I said my goodbyes to my members. I had a really good run with them. I loved the experience and would totally do it again if I got the chance.

I'm waiting at the place where they told me Hyunjin would be discharged. Then, he walks out of the military truck, spots Hyunjae and I, and comes running to us. Wow, he is really fit now. His muscles are way more toned and he's more built than before. He looks really good.
"Shelly! Hyunjae! I'm home!" Hyunjin exclaimed.
"Look, it's apa." I said.
"Apa!" Hyunjae screamed, hugging Hyunjin's legs. Aww, that was adorable.
"I thought the day would never come." I said.
"Well, guess what, I'm finally here." Hyunjin said.
"Your English is so good now." I said.
"I met a Korean-American who helped me learn English more." Hyunjin said.
"Aww, good." I said.
"Yeah, he used to live in America, but moved here later." Hyunjin said.
"Oh, that's cool." I said.

To celebrate Hyunjin's homecoming, we decided to sleep together. I missed these moments with him. Now, I think Hyunjae will have a little sister. . . If Hyunjin forgets something. We all know what that something would be. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the moment that we forget some of the most important things. The next morning, I saw an announcement made by JYP Entertainment announcing that all the members of Stray Kids have renewed their contract prior to the new year. So, starting in March 25, 2025, Stray Kids will celebrate their 7th year together and renewed contract. Hyunjin was so happy to read that upon coming home from the military today. He renewed his contract with JYP before he left just so he could do it in advance.

A few weeks later, I got my pregnancy test to see if I truly am what I believe to be true. After getting tested, I found out that I am pregnant. I go back to my apartment and tell the great news to Hyunjin.
"Guess what, babe?" I asked.
"What?" Hyunjin asked.
"I'm pregnant again." I said.
"Aww, really?" Hyunjin asked, grabbing my shoulders.
"Yes." I said, smiling bright.
Hyunjin smiles bright and a few tears fall from his eyes. He's always been an emotional boy. He kisses me, celebrating that we are pregnant once again. He is excited to be having another baby with me because he wants his son to experience having a sibling unlike he did. He wants his son to know what that's like.

About 9 months later, I am giving birth to my baby girl with Hyunjin by my side. He can't look at the birthing process because it grosses him out, but he can be here for moral support and hold my hand. Once our baby is here, I know exactly what to name her; Charlotte, and her nickname will be Charlie. I think that name is really pretty. Hyunjin thought of the Korean variation of that name: Chaeryoung. Her full name will be written like this in Korean: 황채영. I love it, that is also one of the names of my best friends from ITZY. She is my bias, and I always thought she had a pretty name. She will be happy to hear that we named our daughter Chaeryoung as well.

We take Chaeryoung home and introduce her to Hyunjae, her big brother. Hyunjae looks at his newborn little sister and giggles. Aww, that's so cute. I can't wait for these two to grow up together and become best friends. I know they will have their moments where they don't get along, but that's just what being siblings is like. We invited our friends over to come see the new baby. This momma is getting tired, so I go to my room to take a nap. Hyunjin can definitely handle this on his own right now.
