September 1975 ☾♥★
Lyra awakens to a loud bang, Aspen accidentally slammed her trunk shut. Lyra's eyes fluttered open trying to get used to the lighting change. Aspen turns to look at Lyra with a worried look on her face.
Celeste had already left, probably in the Great Hall waiting on the two girls. She had always been an early raised, unlike the other two.
"Merlin! I'm sorry Lyra. I didn't mean to. It was a complete accident. Well, it's a good thing I did do it because we need to get to the Great Hall to get breakfast and then go to class. We also need to get our schedule, which is why we need to get to the Great Hall." Aspen rambled on, she could do this for hours if no one stopped her. Lyra stretched while rolling her eyes.
"Pen, it's fine really. You go to the Hall and I'll meet you there." Lyra said while walking into the bathroom. "Are you sure, because I can wait?" Aspen asked.
"I'm sure" the grey-eyed girl said while closing the door to the bathroom.

Lyra walked into the Hall and headed straight to the Slytherin table but not without sparing a glance at the lion's table. Lyra's glaze looked straight at her twin, if you could call him that, she missed life before Hogwarts. Lyra keeps looking at him till grey meets hazel.
Remus Lupin and Lyra Black had caught eyes. Remus's eyes made sure to catch every detail of the girl's face to memorize every small detail. The tiny scars you couldn't see unless you are paying attention.
Lyra felt like she was stuck in time for a moment, the swirls of brown and green were almost enchanting. The way his scars perfectly fit his face. The book that he always had in his hand. She thinks she has ever seen him without one.
Lyra broke the staring contest first as she had reached her table. Remus watched as she sat down and started talking with her friends and went back to his book.
"How long does it take for you to get ready?" Celeste said while putting food on Lyra's plate.
"Do you think I just wake up this gorgeous? It takes time to look, not that you would know." Lyra states while flipping her hair.
"Well, maybe you should have taken longer because you do not look as gorgeous as you say you are" Celeste said while putting quotes around gorgeous.
"Now eat. We have class soon and I am not dealing with Lyra on an empty stomach. " she continued while pointing at the food.
"Salazar you are such a mom, Celeste, is there a child that you have that we don't know about." Lyra asked while picking up food. Aspen is chuckling at her friends, she wouldn't ask for better ones.
