Luke's eyes widened and Alex's body shook as he recovered from... whatever had just happened to him. Luke had started to worry when a pain filled expression made it's way onto Alex's face. That worry multiplied quickly when Alex fell off the couch, grabbing his head in pain. Luke has been so worried that he didn't even register Alex's words until a solid ten seconds after they were spoken.

"What? What do you mean, Willie's in trouble?" Luke asked, rubbing circles on Alex's back with his hand. This seemed to calm the blonde drummer down as he sat back on his heels, taking in big gulps of air. It took Alex a few minutes for his breathing to return to normal. The attack was just like when they were alive, Luke noticed, except worse. And, of course, it seemed Alex had a splitting headache just minutes before from the way he collapsed to the ground, clutching his head.

And honestly, it scared Luke. It scared him bad.

Alex's attacks never came with migraines when they were alive. Sure, he would fall to the floor, clutching his chest, but nothing else ever happened. His breathing was the only problem. But now...

Luke made eye contact with Reggie over Alex's head. The bassist wore the same terrified expression that Luke imagined was on his own face. What was going on? Less than two minutes ago the four of them were having a good time, laughing and chatting while watching the movie. Then Alex went into full blown panic mode and now he's saying that Willie's in trouble?

"Alex," Julie said, rubbing the drummer's back as he sat against the couch, trembling, "how do you know Willie's in trouble?"

Alex bit his lip and Luke's heart broke when he saw tears filling his eyes. Alex was obviously in pain, even if it was no longer physical. Luke leaned forward as he opened his mouth, waiting to hear his answer.

"I-I heard his voice."

Luke sat back on his heels, a frown crossing his face. That was not what he was expecting- although he wasn't really sure what he was expecting Alex to say. There wasn't any possible way for him to know, unless Julie gave him a phone and taught him how to text (which Luke still didn't fully understand) without telling the others.

But Luke knew that Alex didn't have a phone, or any way of communicating with Willie, so he still had no idea how he could have heard Willie.

"What? But I didn't hear anything," Reggie said, furrowing his brow. Alex sniffed and rocked forward onto his knees.

"It wasn't out loud, it was in my head," the blonde boy said, the terrified expression never leaving his face. "He said-"

Alex was cut off by another sob emitting from the back of his throat. He burrowed his face in Julie's shoulder as she rubbed his back.

"He said that Caleb found out he helped us get into the Orpheum."

Luke's eyes widened and a wave of fear washed over him. If Caleb found out that Willie helped them, then... well, Luke didn't want to think about what he would do. He remembered Willie telling them that Caleb owns his soul, and that he'd destroy Willie for straying too far from the Club. Luke shivered. He couldn't believe how close he and the boys had been to joining Willie in that position.

Julie looked at Luke and Reggie with concern written all over her face. She had never seen Alex like this before, her other bandmates. In the month that they had known each other, Alex had hidden his anxiety from Julie well. Whenever he felt an attack coming on when Julie was in the room, he'd make an excuse that was actually quite believable. Luke and Reggie always found it ironic that their most trustworthy bandmate had always been the best at lying. It looks like Willie wasn't, though.

Luke shook any thoughts of what might have happened to Willie out of his head. He needed to convince Alex that the skateboarder would be okay, even if he didn't fully believe it himself. Luke had to do what was best for his bandmates, and right now, what was best was to comfort Alex.
