Gaia P.O.V

I dismount Darkclaw and enter the large 'V.K' dormitory at Auradon Prep. After the barrier came down, all the Isle kids signed up for Auradon Prep, including me. Ugh. I hate this place. It's full of fakes. Even some of the Isle kids have embraced it! They're all traitors to our blood! My father's name is Grimmel the Grisly. Yes, the one who exterminated all the Nightfuries. So sue me.

Darkclaw is a Monstrous Nightmare, one of the biggest. She's a deep violet, with shimmering yellow eyes. I give her a pat on the head, and with a huff, she's flying away. A blue facemask covers my face as so to remain incognito. My best friend, Drake, is standing by her dorm room door, waiting for me as usual.

"Gaia! Thank god you're here! I've been waiting since forever!" She cries when she sees me. I tilt my head at her, my usual greeting. She doesn't take the hint though, and I'm wrapped into a bone crushing hug. "Easy girl!" I say, pushing her off of me. I pull off my facemask, letting my long blond hair fall down my back. She opens her door for me. "Come on! Quartz and Kaylee are already here!" She says, pushing me through the door into the brightly lit room. Quartz, son of Tematoa and Kaylee, daughter of Kaa, are sitting on Drake's bed, watching TicToks. Quartz looks up and notices me, and elbows Kaylee in the ribs.

"Ow! Why did you-" Kay looks up and sees my slightly amused expression. She blushes under my gaze. "Ha! You should see your face, Snakey!" Jet calls as he enters the room, sword tucked under his arm. His black eyes were focused on Quartz's shiny silver and gold phone case. "Bit of a drama queen, aren't we Quartz?" He laughs. Quartz scowled good naturedly and throws a pillow across the room. Drake laughs and runs to join what has now turned into a pillow fight.

"Hey! Stay on task guys!" I bark at them. They look up, pillows suspended in midair. "Sorry!" Kay says quietly. I nod and smile, and cock my head at the small table in the center of the room. We sit in the wooden chairs surrounding it, and I speak. " I just finished selling Chad Charming his forbidden Isle tabloids. Cost me a fortune to get them, so I asked for a pretty valuble item... His mother's slipper!" I pull the glass shoe out of my coat pocket. Four pairs of eyes, green, yellow, black and gray, stare at the shining slipper. "It's- It's... SHINY!" Quartz yells.

I roll my eyes. "Yes it is. It's also essential to our plan." I tell him. I smirk and nod at Jet. He salutes, and takes out his phone. 'Welcome to the Jungle' plays from his speaker. "Oh yeah!" Kay says.

Gaia:

Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games. We got everything you want, honey we know the names

Quartz:

We are the people who can find whatever you may need. If you got the money, honey, we got your disease

All:

In the jungle, welcome to the jungle!

Jet:

Watch it bring it to your, k-k-k-k-k-k-k-knees, knees. Oh, I, I wanna watch you bleed!

Drake:

Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games. If you want it you're gonna bleed, but it's the price to pay!

Jet:
