Drake's P.O.V

"Is this real?" Jet asks, looking at the tavern. J.J nods solemnly. Gaia starts to walk in, but Harry steps out from the alley beside the bar. "Why, if it isn't Harry Hook himself. Out of the way, we're trying to go somewhere." She says. He smiles slightly. I step up behind Gaia and try to look tough. Harry is such a jerk!

"You heard her. Move! We're trying to get Jericho!" Jet says. The smile on Harry's face is gone. "Don't bother her. She's gone through enough already." He says. Kaylee rolls her eyes and walks in. The rest of us follow suite. "She's not going to come!" He calls to us.

The bar is dimly lit and surprisingly clean. We go to the counter, where a girl, probably eighteen or nineteen, is sitting. Her white hair is tangled, and her brown eyes are unfocused. Around her are several shot glasses. No one seems to want to disturb her.

"Jericho?" I ask timidly. She just stares down at the counter, not caring. "I told you, she won't listen to you." Harry says, leaning on the counter. There are tears in my eyes, and I quickly wipe them away. "You seem so smug. Can you get her to leave? This is kind of important." Gaia says. Harry cocks his head to the side.

"It just so happens that I can. But what's in it for me?" He asks. "How about taking over Auradon so evil can rule once more?" Xander asks. The cheshire grin is back. " Hey Juan!" He yells over his shoulder.

A boy our age, with tousled brown hair and amber eyes walks over, guitar in hand. "Yeah Harry? I was kind of doing something." He says. He see's us , and then notices Jericho. "Are they actually-" He begins. "Yes, they are."

Juan shakes his head. "Only for Jericho amigo. It's about time she got out of here anyway." He says. (Skip to 2:13) He starts to play a country song on his guitar.

Whiskey Lullaby

Harry:

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart; he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night...

He waited for a second, and Jericho began to sing with him.

Juan, Harry and Jericho:

He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said 'I'll love her 'til I die'
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

Another few seconds passed, and Jericho's head lifted slightly. Her voice was hoarse, but it still caught the attention of everyone in the room

Jericho

The rumors flew, but nobody knew how much she blamed herself
For years and years, she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night

All three:

She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la...

Jericho had her head all the way up by the time the song was over, and her eyes had cleared. I notice that there are small tears in Harry's eyes.

"Juan! Harry! When did you get here?" She asks happily.  I exchange a glance with the rest of our group, and everyone seems sad. She see's the rest of us, and squeaks. "Drake! Quartz! You're here too!" She says, jumping up to hug us.

She smells like alcohol, but I'm happy to see her, so I hug back. She then proceeds to hug Juan, who I learn is the son of  Manolo Sanchez ( the book of life). When she hugs Harry, she notices the tears and wipes them away. "What's wrong? You're not one to cry. Like, ever." Me and Quartz exchange another look, saying the same thing; "She doesn't remember?" Harry just responds with "Nothing at all".

We explain what we need from her, and she agrees, saying "Whatever happens, no one cares two cents about me."  She leaves the bar with us, occasionally tripping on the uneven ground. I walk up to her, wanting to talk. Harry has been hovering a little bit, so she tells him to leave us alone for a few minutes.

"He really cares about you, huh?" I say to her. She nods, looking back at him. "So what exactly happened?" I ask. She tells me about her dad caring more about his Guardian duties then her, of growing up alone with Harry and Miguel being her only friends. "Until you met me, but I forget most of that" She confesses.

" Well, you're with us now." I tell her. She smiles at me, and then goes back to Harry.
