Friends?

Chapter 1

Tears streaming down my face, I'm in total and utter shock from what just happened. How could I be so stupid. This wasn't supposed to happen!

I hear the bathroom door open and I hope to God that it's someone random. I can't bear to face Allison, Scott, and especially Stiles.

"Are you okay" A voice shouts.

I know for a fact that it's Stiles who just walked through that door.

"This is the woman's bathroom. You can't be in here Stiles!" I wimped.

"It'll only take a second. We have to talk about what just happened."

He reaches out his hand and tilts my face up so we're starting at eachother.

I looked up with my tear filled eyes and felt comfort when I saw his chocolate brown eyes.

...

"I don't want to dad! Why can't we just be normal!"

"How dare you say something like that Amber! What we do is for the good of everyone."

I couldn't believe my ears. I don't care if their human, wolves, bats, or even zombies. I would never kill a living being. That's exactly why I'm vegan.

"I will not participate in this ridiculousness."

He wasn't ready to tell us yet, but I found out and he tried to recruit me. There was no chance in hell that I would agree to this.

Allison comes down the stairs looking stunning as usual. I've always been so jealous of her, but I don't let her know that because we're so close, and I don't want anything to get in between us.

"Ready for school darlings."

"I guess." I mumble as I walk past my dad.

I jump into the car. I can feel the pesky butterflies flutter in my stomach. I get stressed out very easily, and after last year I don't think this anxiety will ever go away.

...

We finally pull up to the school. "Beacon Hills High School" I read. My hands are trembling, and I think Allison notices because she holds my hand tight and whispers

"This is going to be a good year. Nothing compared to last year. I promise."

This calms me down in the slightest, but these stupid butterflies will not go away for the life of me.

I whisper back, "I hope not."

We then both walk to the front entrance to get us signed in.
