When Twilight came to consciousness, he was in an unfamiliar bed. Groaning, he forced himself to sit up. He was very sore. Right. The Guardian and the mystery Link. Owwwww. Who knew that bushes could hurt so much? The laser beam, not so much. Hauling himself out of the bed, he felt bandages wrapped around his arm. He was in a nicely furnished house. The bed was on a loft. On the lower floor, there was a table, a cabinet, and strange mounts on the walls. The stairs creaked softly as he went down them.
On the mounts were strange weapons. A magnificent trident, a bejeweled club, and a slender scimitar were mounted on the walls. They looked used to the point of breaking, and then they were preserved here. On the other side, a wall of shields was mounted. There was a magnificent shield, decorated and heavily damaged, a slightly less damaged shield that glowed with blue technology, and a shield that looked like a beast had carved it. The last wall had three bows, one of them was huge with a multishot and feathers decorated it. The last two looked like the glowing shield and the beast-like shield.
There was a sound coming from outside, kind of like someone singing. Opening the door following the sound led him to the Link crouching over a cooking pot humming a tune. He seemed to have made some sort of a meat dish with rice. Hearing the sound of Twilight's footsteps, he turned around.
"Oh! You're up. By poking around your stuff, I don't think that you're an assassin, but if you are then I will toss you off of that bridge." He pointed to his left and went back to stirring the pot.
"Um... I'm not an assassin, so can we please skip the bridge thing?" Link seemed to look happy at this and relaxed.
"Alright. Here, go back inside. I'll be back in a second. Then you can tell me your story." Link shooed Twilight back inside.
Link retired a second later with two bowls filled with rice and meat. Steam wafted off of it.
"It was done quickly, so it's not that good..." Link rubbed the back of his head. Twilight cautiously took one bite... and immediately took ten more.
"Listen here. When you are traveling with me you are making this food every day. We have been living off of beef jerky and burnt bread so this is a major improvement." Twilight said halfway between bites.
"Speaking of... Who is 'we'?" Link squinted at him suspiciously. "You definitely aren't from this Hyrule. Even the youngest child knows to avoid Guardians. You also had a general lack of knowledge. I bet you don't even know who the Yiga Clan is!"
"Nope. What even is the Yiga clan? I think we only know of it because of you. Do they eat bananas and carry a weird scythe thing? Because we got attacked by one of them and he dropped those along with some rupees." Link stared at him and then nodded.
"They have a weird obsession with them. Anyway, back to you. I want to hear your story." Something in Twilight told him that he could trust this guy and out came tales of Twili magic and wolves and Midna. Next came his stories about traveling with the Links and seeing other worlds. This Link (thank Hylia) seemed to be on board with traveling with them.
"But, what should we call you? I mean, if you are going to travel with us. Even if it's just us for now. Like, do the people call you something?" Link seemed to space out for a second.
"Wild. You can call me Wild." Link- no, Wild grinned.
"Any particular reason why?" Twilight was curious. Such a strange name, and yet it seemed to fit him.
"The Monks called me the 'Hero of the Wild.' The villagers also called me it as a nickname. Or the fact that in my first few months I was pretty much feral." Twilight laughed.
"I can see that. And what do you mean by 'first few months'?" Yet another strange detail about Wild.
Wild grinned. "Let's hit the road and find your friends. I can tell you on the way there."
Wild dragged him outside and cut down a tree. He did something with a tablet hanging off of his waist, and the tree glowed bright yellow. He then proceeded to bash it until it was red.
"Um... Am I going to regret getting onto this?" Twilight asked no one in particular.
"Just hold on."
"Hold on? To whaAAAAAAAAAAT?" Twilight never got to finish his question as the log jolted forward, carrying Wild and Twilight off to an unknown place.

"I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT! We lost Twilight and Link in under an hour! And to what? A mechanical spider?" Wind was fuming.
"Technically, spiders have eight legs while bugs have six." Time mumbled from a corner. He was peeking at a map. He had six points circled with question marks surrounding them.
"Don't forget that the bug has laser eye beams and can run incredibly fast." Sky said.
Hyrule was silent. He had seen that Link fight It was strong, powerful, and was designed to hit multiple targets at once. He moved spears in a fashion that was designed to trip and whack the enemies in more places than one. He bet that he could do some serious damage using swords as well. He was worried for Twilight, because they didn't know if he would help or harm him.
"Hey. Sky, can you ask Fi what she knows about this Link?" The group gathered round the sword.
"Link, the Hero of the Wild. His strengths are plentiful. He is able to go without sleep for days at time and doesn't need to consume food on a daily basis." Everyone stared for a second. Sounds dangerous...
"He is a good cook, often making potions to help him on his way. Able to survive extreme temperatures. Has enhanced armor. Weapons include whatever he has looted from monsters or have found in chests. He does not use the Master Sword often." Not using the Master Sword? Hyrule had never heard of such a thing.
"A tendency to set things on fire. Has a vengeful side, shown when he burned and looted the Yiga Clan Hideout for the theft of the Thunder Helm. Armed with runes on his Sheikah Slate such as Status, Magnesis..."
Fi's voice faded into the background. What had they gotten themselves into when Warriors attacked him? Twilight... No. They were not going to let Twilight get hurt. But still. Why did they have to make the murderous, arson Link mad? And guessing from this... He clearly was chaotic. Looking around at the faces of the group, they assumed the worst as well. Fi's monologue just made things worse. Finally, she shrunk back into a sword.
Everyone turned towards Warriors.
"Warriors, what the HELL were you thinking?"
"I can't believe it! You just doomed Twilight!"
"Oh great, just what we needed."
Time's voice rose above the others. "EVERYONE SHUT UP! I just found a possible lead." Everyone crowded around him.
"When we fought the Guardian, a page of his journal blew out. I grabbed it. It was written just before the battle. It's a to-do list. Apparently he was going to some place called 'Central Tower.' It looks tall and like it would be a great place to scout out. If we're lucky, we might even meet him there. It might not be much, but it was the best opportunity." Everyone's face was filled with hope. Hyurle hoped that they would be able to find Twilight soon...
