8: Out of Control

Jin: Tae, what's wrong with you? Why did you punch a random guy?

Tae: He's not random guy. He's with Irene!

Jin: So what? You're not together anymore. She's free to be with another guy. Why are even mad at this? You're the one who broke up with her, remember? Now everyone thinks she cheated on you. Do you even realize how much hate she's getting right now?!

Taehyung immediately ended the call and switched off his phone. He knew he did wrong and he let his jealousy and alcohol take over him but, right now he needed to sleep. He had a massive head ache and hangover. His body was tired but, his heart was even more so. After a while, he drifted to sleep only to be woken up a few hours later by the loud banging on the door.

Taehyung groaned as he slowly got up from his bed and and headed to the door, ready to pound whoever was disturbing his sleep. When he opened the door, he saw his manager and beside him was a familiar man- Irene's Manager.

"Taehyung!! Oh my god. We've been calling you for hours," yelled Taehyung's Manager.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked coldly as he moved from the door to the kitchen.

The two Managers then followed him inside.

"Tae, what happened last night is all over the news and if you don't want to ruin your career, you'll listen to what we have to say." started Taehyung's Manager.

"Fine. I'm listening," Taehyung answered.

"You and Irene are both in hot water right now. Your out of control behavior last night blew things out of proportion. Some think you cheated on her, others think she cheated on you...bottom line is all these speculations have a bad effect on both of your reputations and career which is why we propose a damage control," Irene's Manager explained.

"What's the plan?" asked Taehyung.

The two Managers looked at each other then Taehyung's Manager looked back at him then spoke.

"Tae, you and Irene were suppose to film a movie before the break up right?"

"Yeah," Teahyung replied.

"Well, we planned for the two of you to star in that movie again," stated Irene's Manager.

"You mean you want us, an ex couple, to play lovers in a movie?" Taehyung scoffed in disbelief.

"Tae, we need show people that you two are in good terms to get rid of this 'cheating' issue." explained Taehyung Manager.

"Irene has already agreed to this." explained her Manager.

Taehyung released a small sigh. 'She agreed to this? Doesn't she hate me?' Taehyung though to himself

"What about Joy? Will she agree to be replaced?" he asked.

"Don't worry. I'll talk to her. I'll make sure she understands the situation," his Manager assured him.

"So? What do you say?" asked Irene's Manager.

"Okay, I'll do it."

After the Managers left, Taehyung fell back to his bed. He'll be seeing Irene again. Involuntarily, a small smile appeared on his face.
