Summary: Even with his explosive personality, Katsuki gets butterflies around Tamaki 

<3 this made me so soft 

3rd Person POV

Katsuki Bakugo grew up surrounded by his loving friends, and he cherished each and every single one of them 

Even the green-haired boy he claimed was so annoying had a special place in his heart 

But as Katsuki got older and grasped how cruel and hurtful the world could be, he did everything in his power to shield himself from it 

Including shut out any and every emotion that could make him feel weak 

So when Katsuki first met Tamaki Amajiki from class 3-A he wasn't sure what he was feeling 

Everytime he saw the purple-haired elf Katsuki got a strange feeling in his tummy, kind of like the feeling you get when you eat too much cotton candy at the fair 

And his chest would feel tight, his head empty, and the only thing he could focus on was Tamaki

Bakugo's POV

"Hey do you wanna go watch the 3rd Years train? Aizawa gave us permission this time so we can't get in trouble for it," Kirishima asked

"Tch, whatever," I replied 

It's not like I didn't want to see the 3rd years train, it'd be stupid of me not to 

I just don't like that feeling I get when I see tentacles dumbass

I followed Kiri and a few others from our class to one of the gyms they had, and already from a couple of feet away you could hear how loud some of their quirks were 

"I wanna see Nejire! Her quirk is so cool," Mina giggled 

"Pinky we're not here to act like the damn peanut gallery," I mumbled 

"Oh be quiet Bakugo, don't act like there's someone you don't wanna look at," she sated snickering 

I blushed and sped up to walk further in front 

I rather not blow my cool before we get inside to watch them train

3rd Person POV

As the small group of students from Class 1-A entered the training gym, Mirio from the big three welcomed them 

"Oh hey guys!" Mirio waved as the group approached him 

"I'd recommend to just stand here and watch, it can get a little intense," Mirio smiled 

"A little intensity never killed anyone," Katsuki commented turning his head to search for the purple-haired boy discreetly 

As Katsuki scanned the room he finally settled his eyes in the corner of the gym where none other than Tamaki Amaji was standing

"Why is he in the corner?" Mina asked pointing at Tamaki

"He heard you were coming and got a little...nervous," Mirio replied, his eyebrows furrowing 

Katsuki tilted his head to the side a little and started at the purple-haired boy, feeling something heavy in his chest

Was it anger? No that can't be it

"Bakugo do you mind talking to Tamaki? you might be able to soothe him," Mirio questioned

"Really you want Ba-" 

"He can do it, besides, part of being a great hero is knowing how to handle helping people during stressful situations," Mirio continued 

Katsuki huffed and walked over to Tamaki, making sure to dodge any attacks from the other 3rd years who were training 

"Oi, you alright?" Katsuki asked

Tamaki whimpered hearing Katsuki's loud voice and sunk ever further into the corner 

The blonde widened his eyes at Tamaki's reaction and sucked in a sharp breath before speaking again

"It's okay you know, to be a little nervous, but we're not here to judge you, just to learn," Katsuki stated, speaking softly 

Tamaki turned his head slightly and made eye contact with the shorter blonde for a few moments as he visibly began relaxing 

Katsuki squatted down and faced the corner just like Tamaki had been

"If you ever feel nervous or a little worried about something don't let it get you down, I know it's easier said than done but I believe in you," the blonde said smiling lightly 

"There goes that feeling again," Katsuki thought

Tamaki smiled lightly and watched as Katsuki's face lit up a pretty pink hue 

"Thanks," Tamaki said 

"For what?" Katsuki replied 

"For saying you believe in me, I know Mirio says it to me all the time but it's different to hear it from someone else," Tamaki continued 

"Gah I'm sorry, I should be teaching your class about things but instead you're teaching me," Tamaki frowned 

"Don't mention it, we all have our rough moments, it makes us human," Katsuki replied 

"Besides, it's a bonus if I get to help someone so...cute," Katsuki said, letting his eyes scan Tamaki's face 

Tamaki blushed and turned away quickly

"You can't say stuff like that, I get flustered easily," Tamaki whined 

"It's the truth, you give me this weird feeling in my stomach everytime I fucking see you," Katsuki growled 

Tamaki raised a brow

"Like butterflies?" 

"Yeah, a whole swarm"

A/N: This was something a little quick since I haven't posted in a while and I hope you like it :) 

I'm taking summer classes and working so it's hard to post often but I'm writing snippets here and there when I can so I can hopefully post a few chapters in a row soon!
