Minho's POV

Bobby should be here today. But his mom came over just now, she said they're having dinner with another family to discuss about something big. It must be business-relating things. Poor my friend and his brother, they have to awkwardly eating their dinner. I'm glad my father is just a normal office worker.

Talking about my dad, he came back early today. He said we'll be eating our dinner at harabeoji's. It's been 2 weeks since the last time I met them.

Minho: Is there any special occasion there?

Jiwon: Knowing your grandparents and us, we don't need special occasion to visit them. And it's been so long since our last visit.

I know that, I just want to have a chit-chat with appa. Because of our unstable financial back then, we used to live with my grandparents.

Minho: Tsk, it's not even 3 weeks yet.

Jiwon: 2 weeks are long enough for me.

Minho: Appa... You're a clingy son. You call Jihoon uncle 'clingy boy' but you're a clingy too.

Jiwon: So do you.

Minho: I admit that. I miss halmeoni so much.

Jiwon: We used to live with them for 10 years and visit them every week. Of course you miss her.

Minho: Appa, can I drive?

I know he will say no but deep inside my heart, I'm still wishing for him to say yes. What's the point of teaching me driving if he won't let me.

Jiwon: Do you have a death wish?

Dad answered me with a scary glare. Dark circle around his eyes make it scarier. I remember how those eyes made me confessed my mistakes back then.

Minho: I'll take that as no.

Jiwon: Don't misunderstand me, son. Your driving is good. But as a father, I'm still worried about whatever that can happen to you.

One thing that makes my father different from other common father is, he's transparent when he talks to me. Most of my friends said they're awkward with their father, but I'm comfortable with mine. Our small age gap might be the reason. He had me when he was so young.

Minho: Don't worry, i know. I was just joking with you.

Jiwon: If so, okay. Let's go to your grandparent's.

Dad said while grabbing the car key.

Inside the car~

Jiwon's POV

I'm so grateful to have an understanding son like Minho. At least he understand the law.

The traffic light is red, so I stop driving for a while. I take a glance at Minho, sitting on the passenger seat next to me. His eyes are focused on the phone screen while his fingers dancing. Playing the mobile game I guess.

Jiwon: You've grown up.

I said plainly while my eyes focusing on the driving.

Minho: Of course. I'm no longer on your lap or in your arms, appa.

He said while still busy playing his game. Somehow, his words make me realize that, my son is a really grown up, and he can live his own life, whenever he want, without me. As a father, I shouldn't be paranoid about this, but looking at him now make me recall back, the way I'm raising him, from a newborn to an almost young adult.

Jiwon: Minho-yaa, don't sacrifice anything for me.

Minho: Why are you saying this?

Jiwon: I'm just saying that, you should live the way you want to live. It's your own life.

Minho: Are you saying this because you're feeling guilty for saying no just now? Don't worry, appa. I don't really want to drive, I was just teasing you.

Jiwon: No, it's not because of that. You really shouldn't sacrifice anything for me.

Minho: Like what?

Jiwon: Anything.

Minho: But you sacrificed your younger days for me.

Jiwon: For the prettiest thing in my life. I don't want it to be ruined by me.

Minho: You're cringy. Stop it. I'm not a daughter.

He chuckled while slapping my shoulder. Gosh, don't he remember that I'm his father.

Jiwon: For a moment, I'm not myself. Mianhae.

Minho's POV

Everyone said that he's a type of tsundere. My dad is a cold person, but his foolness in using words to become transparent to me makes me feel warm. However, his words just now, are a bit too much. He's like spilling everything that crossed his mind and his heart, which made me feel uncomfortable. I rarely feels like this around him.

Anyway, he's weird, and I'm grateful for it.

Jiwon: We're here.

Minho: I'm going to surprise halmeoni.

I said as I'm getting out from the car.

Jiwon: She knows that we're coming.

Minho: She doesn't know that I'm going in from the back door.

Jiwon: Use the window instead.

Minho: Okay!

Me and dad are sneakily walking toward the window that is located on the side of the house. It's very dark but we managed to find our way.

Jiwon: Minho, don't make any sound.

Minho: I know.

We whispered to each other.

I peeked through the window and saw harabeoji's eating. I looked at dad and see that he's already took off his shoes. As I'm getting ready to jump in, I heard a voice coming from beside.

Woman: What are you doing?
