"Are you sure they won't see us here?"

Asked a young girl, with hair whose colors are of the golden rays of sunshine accompanied with a confused look on her warm green eyes.

"Yeah, I'm sure of that. I made sure that this area was very secluded before we got here."

Answered an older boy, with earth-colored hair and eyes.

"Was?" asked the young girl.

"And still is..." the poor boy tried to save himself from the girl's daggering eyes.

The young girl was known as Sophia Wright, the heiress of a multi-billion company owned by one of the richest clans in her country. She was known to be a behaved girl and was easily controlled.

The young lad was known to be Edward Williams, a boy coming from a middle-class family, with a ton of siblings and a humble set of parents.

These youth have been on the run eversince December 1st has passed.

What could the reason  be?

Forbidden love is what they call it.

Their families are against it. Their friends said that they should stop the nonsense. Even the law itself is against it.

They absolutely think that people nowadays are very close-minded, after all, it was only a two year gap and they adore each other regardless of their statuses.

The pair arrive at an abandoned mansion, one that was already a hundred years old.

"I'm scared." Sophia muttered.

"There are no ghosts here. I can assure you that." Edward answered.

"You've been here before?" asked Sophia.

"Mmm hmm." he nodded.

"How?" she asked.

The two approached the large mahogany double door of the mansion. It already had a bit of mold but it was not enough to hide it's beauty against the glistening sunlight.

"This has always been my safe haven. I always go here everytime I skip school." he answered as he reached the door's knob and opened the door.

"I didn't know that you were such a bad boy when you were little." Sophia giggled as she brings her face closer to Edward's.

Edward tries to lean in for a kiss but Sophia quickly dodges the kiss.

Edward throws some disappointed air punches. He must've thought that it was a missed opportunity for their relationship to proceed to the next level.

Sophia just rolls her eyes while walking in and spanning her gaze upon the detailed high ceiling and down upon the dusty wooden floor.

"Wow." she said in awe.

The mansion was built in a carefully planned and a perfectly executed manner. Starting from the very detailed angel paintings on the ceiling, the handcrafted woodcarvings in it's every corner, the white painted walls that shouted antiquity and class, the big windows that made the entire place look thrice as huge as it already is, to the overall appearance of the mansion's interior.

It was very breathtaking.

"I always come here and think that the designer made love to this house." Edward muttered.

"That's a very weird thing to say." Sophia answered.

"I dunno, it just feels like a masterpiece and if you want to do your best you pour all your love on it." Edward defended himself.
