Waking up I couldn't hide the excitement I was feeling! Mum and Dad were still asleep when I left the house, but that didn't bother me. I took my bike to save me walking as I wanted to store all the energy I had for my dancing. As I started pedalling I couldn't get over the relief of having freedom. Right this second I could ride of into the sunset; only I didn't have anything with me. I just had to be carful that Mum and Dad didn't find out or I might end up 'falling down the stairs' again. Finally after circling round the block, I soon found the address.

I was surprised to see the building. I was expecting a large, delicate hall with white window frames around double glazed windows and a vast field that was as green as apples stretching along the front of the building. Sadly, that wasn't what was in front of me. Instead it was a little, grey town hall with cracks seeping there way to every corner and a plain, old- fashioned wooden door with a small window at the front. I soon learnt though to never judge a book by its cover- the view inside was absolutely unbelievable. Pure white walls enclosed an opulent room with a blinding, polished floor. To the right of the room was a bar that stretched to what seemed forever along with a row of perfectly clear mirrors. The ceiling of the room was beautiful. It stretched to the heavens and at the point of the roof hung a crystal chandelier that lit up the way for miles.

In the distance I saw a tall slim figure and automatically knew that it was Ellise. Her long brown has hair was tied up in a neat, slick bun and she was wearing a skinny black top with matching black leggings. She spotted me and called out to me.
"Hey Skie, so glad you could make it!"
"Oh my, this room is absolutely gorgeous!"
I took a deep sigh of pleasure at the sight of this magnificent place.
"I know almost like a palace!"

Soon a short stumpy lady wearing a baby pink skirt and a black top came walking into the room. She stood with her feet in a weird position which I then learnt was called 'First position'. I called it bunny ears because that's what her feet reminded me of when they were like that.

Soon we started dancing and surprisingly I picked it up quick. I loved the dances and felt like a swan dancing ballet. The lesson was full of laughs and smiles-I never wanted to leave. When the end of the lesson came I was saddened once more. Although, I had made lots of new friends who welcomed me with loving arms into the dance group. I walked to the door to leave when the teacher pulled me to one side.

"I couldn't help but notice you have a naturally good posture, have you danced before by any chance?"

I gave her a smile as to say 'thanks' then shook my head. The teacher made a face as to say 'oh, sorry my mistake' and then walked off into the distance. I couldn't believe my first dance lesson was over. It definitely wouldn't be my last!
