"Dr. Yoon..."
The older boy called out as his doctor was currently fixing his things to get started with today's check up.
The doctor hummed in response, eyes focused on his things, "Hmm?"
"Nothing.." Jeonghan then rolled his eyes at the response he got,
"Are you trying to annoy me? Cause if so, then congratulations, you have succeeded."
The boy who was sitting on the small clinic bed across him let out a breathy laugh, one that creates a smile and fills Seungcheol's eyes with so much fondness.
Fond with the way the doctor's eyes rolled at him for about 10 times now. Fond with the way he pushes out a foul attitude but manages to look cute either way.
The doctor's been acting like this: acting so snappy around his suitor since the time a woman had joined them for lunch, who turns out to be a person who had been liking Seungcheol for years.
Although they weren't official, and the fact that the doctor hasn't said anything yet —-hasn't said answered yes regarding his patient courting him—- they both knew that Jeonghan's been jealous, thus, acting all hard to get around his suitor.
Seungcheol then cleared his throat, ready for his cheesy, yet statement full of sincerity, "No... I just want to say that I've been happy these past few days because of you."
The doctor's heart had fluttered deep inside, quick to hide his red blush face. He felt happy for hearing those words from the elder, but of course he wouldn't dare to say it out loud.
So instead, he scoffed, he surely was good at hiding those rumbling butterflies. "Are you saying that cause you're courting me?"
"Plus, it's not like you've been sad all your life without me" Jeonghan joked mindlessly,
Or...you can say that he was fishing out informations. How was he these past years? Has he been happy? Has he dated someone else?
Eyes still focused on his stuff, failing to notice how Seungcheol's eyes glistened with hurt.
The latter looked down on his fingers, contemplating whether he should open up or not...
But he decided...he will.
"That's right..." Seungcheol spoke, the doctor got confused for a while, so he let the silence ask his patient continue.
