Friday

the bright sunshine blinds me as I open my eyes.

7:00 the clock read.

I get out of bed and stretch.

I grab my uniform from the closet and put on some makeup.

I straighten my hair, and put on my shoes.

I grab my backpack.

"Bye mom! Bye dad!" I yell as I open the door.

I walk to the bus stop.

"Hey new girl!" A girl says, and walks over to me.

"uh, hi..." I say.

"Some nerve showing up here and already getting 2 boys chasing after you." She says putting her hands on her hips.

"what are you talking about?"

"Louis and Carter. The attractive duo."

"Im sorry?"

"You really are blind, huh?" Another girl walks up.

"Im going to prom with Carter..." I say

"yeah, I bet louis wishes you weren't. We see the way he looks at you." The blond girl says.

"We're just friends! Plus he's going to prom with Sydney" I say.

"well i think you wish you were Sydney!" The brunette girl pushes my shoulder back with her finger.

"Dont touch me!" I say, "Why would I want to be that stuck up snot?"

"Hey! If you say our friend is a stuck up one more time-" The blonde gets cut off.

"Dont worry, Ms. New Girl here won't even get to say it one more time. Won't you new girl?" The brunette smiles.

I spit in her face.

"Oh your so de-" The bus pulls up.

I smile and walk into the bus.

I should've known she had a little brainwashed group of friends.

I sit in the front, near the bus driver so they couldn't talk to me.

We arrive at the school. I hop out, and open the school doors.

I walk to my locker. Everybody walking around, and talking.

Someone puts their hands around my waist.

"Hey Sarah!" The boy says with excitement. He swings me around in a circle. I land facing him.

"Hey Carter!" I say with a smile.

We've been hanging every day since the triple date. Those days have been the best. We spent the days after school doing homework together, watching movies, playing boardgames, and going on walks in the rain.

"You excited for tonight?" He says leaning against the locker next to mine.

"eh, not really" I give him a smile.

"haha very funny." He smiles back.

"My parents left for a business trip. Like they do every year." He says.

"Nice! My parents are going to back to America to finish a few more things for winter break." I say. I close my locker and we start heading to English.

"So, I was thinking, we could rent a little cabin up near the snow for winter break. We can invite everyone else!" Carter says. His light brown eyes shining from the light.

"Thats a great idea! You can tell everyone at lunch!" I smile.

"Great! We can leave Monday!" He says.

I nod and head to my desk.
