"Y-you won't leave me right?" Chaewon choked out timidly, glancing up at the woman sitting across from her.
With the moonlight shining through the window and onto Chaewon's face, Minju couldn't help but think how ethereal the former currently looked.
Yes, Chaewon was gorgeous at all times but there was something about the silvery lights spreading on her face that it made her skin glow a lot more than usual, her eyes glistening with tears.
Swallowing the lump forming in her throat, Minju smiled - the smile not quite reaching her eyes. It pained her to hear that question coming from Chaewon.
Especially when she knew she wouldn't be able to give her the answer she wanted.
"I won't" Minju lied.
She caressed the back of Chaewon's hand with her thumb, gently tugging at it to gesture for the woman to come closer to her.
No matter how desperately she wanted to stay with Chaewon, the time will come when fate will tear them apart.
