The Heart

It has been four months since Ulquiorra stayed with Orihime in her house and it was already spring. Today, Ulquiorra and Orihime will see Grimmjow and Nelliel off to Hueco Mundo. Yesterday, Ichigo and Rukia headed off to Soul Society. And Orihime and Ulquiorra was already a couple.

-Time Skip to the back of Orihime’s house-

 “Are you sure you want to leave?” Orihime asked looking sad.

Nelliel turned to Orihime and said, “What do you mean? Of course we are.”

“Oh….” Orihime said and before she could finish her sentence, Nelliel hugged her and said, “Don’t worry; we’ll come back after spring break. I’ll miss you sis.”

“Sis?” Orihime asked a little confused.

“Yup! Sis! I’ll call you that because you’re like a sister to me,” said Nelliel. “Anyways, we have to go. Bye!”

“So you both got your powers back?” Ulquiorra asked.

“Yes we did,” said Grimmjow. “Anyway were off.”

“Of course,” Ulquiorra said.

“Your reiatsu,” Grimmjow started. “It’s slowly coming back to its original state.”

Ulquiorra was shocked on the inside, but calm on the outside. “As long as I can still control it. Even Murciélago will come back to me,” he turned and looked at Orihime. “Only if I won’t hurt her.”

“I understand how you feel. But are you sure you can control it?” Grimmjow asked. “Ulquiorra, having a Hollow’s reiatsu is hard to—“he got cut.

“Don’t underestimate me, Grimmjow,” said Ulquiorra. “I know Hollows more than you do. Remember that you’re an Adjucas and I’m a normal Hollow. That’s what made us Vasto Lordes. Our reiatsu level.”

“Tch! whatever,” said Grimmjow. “Let’s go Nell!” he opened a garganta.

“Grimmjow can’t it wait?” Nelliel asked.

“No,” Grimmjow said coldly.

“Aww,” Nelliel said and pouted. “Meanie!”

After that, Nelliel and Grimmjow come in the garganta and headed straight to Hueco Mundo. While Orihime and Ulquiorra stayed in the house.

Orihime’s POV:

It’s been three months since Ulquiorra and I became a couple. Ever since then, I didn’t know what to do and what to say. Ulquiorra always started the conversation and everything else because I often talk to him. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn’t smile around someone else. I even find it weird why his smile only appears around me.

We came to the living room and sat on the couch. I put my laptop on my lap and started learning Spanish words since I barely know that language. “Como si lama?”  I asked. (A/n: como si lama means “what is your name?” in Spanish)

Ulquiorra looked at me and said, “Ulquiorra Cifer. Yo ti amo, Orihime-chan.” (A/n: yo ti amo means “I love you” in Spanish)

I blushed and looked away from Ulquiorra so he couldn’t see my blushing face. Before I could say a word, Ulquiorra suddenly kissed my cheek which made meblush even more. “You look so cute when you blush!” Ulquiorra whispered.

I stayed quiet for a while and said, “Thanks for complementing me!” I smiled.

Ulquiorra cupped my chin and said, “Anything for my kind and loving princess,” he kissed me and I kissed him back. After a minute, we broke the kiss in need of aor. I looked at him and said,” and you are my lovey dovey prince!”

Ulquiorra smiled and said, “So have you studied?”

“Oh no! I totally forgot!” I panicked. “Oh wait its spring break.”

“It’s okay, I just teased you,” said Ulquiorra.

*End of POV*

There was a minute of silence until Orihime’s tummy roared. Ulquiorra looked at her and said, “Are you hungry? I can go and get cookies for you if you like.”

“No, it’s okay,” Orihime said and her tummy roared again.

‘Hush now. I don’t have time to eat,’ Orihime thought.

“I’ll go get some cookies,” Ulquiorra said as he walked to the kitchen to get cookies for Orihime.

When he came back, he had a plate full of cookies and two glasses of orange juice. He put them on the table and said, “Here you go. Eat it and be full.”

Orihime smiled and said, “Okay!”

Ulquiorra smiled back to Orihime and sat on the couch. Orihime started eating the cookies and Ulquiorra just watched TV and drank juice. “Meet me at the bookstore tomorrow, I have something to give you,” said Ulquiorra.

“Okay!” Orihime said and looked at Ulquiorra. “I’m done eating!”

“That was fast,” Ulquiorra said a bit shocked.

-Time Skip-

The next day, Ulquiorra was on the bookstore to meet Orihime.

Ulquiorra’s POV:

Orihime’s still the same as usual or maybe she changes without me noticing it. I’m still worried if she still has feelings for Kurosaki. I sighed. I’m thinking too much or just overreacting in the inside. I looked up to see Orihime and there she was. Walking across the street. “Ulquiorra-kun!” Orihime said as she waved at me and crossed the street running and suddenly……

“Woosh!”

I was very shocked to what just happened. I can’t believe it. Am I dreaming? Snap out of it Ulquiorra! The whole street was messed up to what just happened. “Orihime,” I whispered as tears started to fall on my face and soft rain started to pour out from the sky. I ran to Orihime and I finally realize that it wasn’t a dream. “Orihime,” I whispered again and fell on my knees. “Orihime! Answer me!” she didn’t respond. I placed her on my lap and hugged her tightly. The rain was getting heavier, so as my heart. “Orihime! Orihime!” there was nothing. I was holding Orihime’s corpse. She was so cold and her blood spread on my shirt.

Why do I feel so empty again? Why do I feel like there’s a hole in my heart? Orihime……she’s now gone. The heart. My heart…….. Orihime. So many words I want to tell you. So many things I want to discover with you. But now you’re gone…. Orihime……… I love you. You are and will always be………………….. The Heart…..
