Blazing Red and Gold fires burning in front of me. Tents of Pure-White canvas standing beneath the moon-lit trees. A vision of heaven. This is my Reenactment.
Young children running around in their time appropriate gowns and clothing. Parents and Adults alike sitting and chatting around the golden fires, cooking stews and buttering bread. A vision of happiness.
Elderly Men and Women sitting down on old, worn out blankets gossiping and showing children how to sew, knit, and tie a knot. Mothers tying their daughters dresses back up, Fathers helping their sons carry heavy logs. A vision of love.
Cannons firing in the distance, showing school children and teachers alike the beauty of their works. Gun workers showing off their guns, showing us the beauty of their power. A vision of artillery.
Children from the public sitting down and watching displays of weapons, war and artillary. Dogs coming up to you to lick your hands and feet, wanting your attention. Shouts and echos coming from the woods as a battle is on. Men and Women alike running back from the deadly war zone, covered in blood. A vision of life.
