Kerbal Space Program is a space game using real rocket science. You start on Kerbin, the Earth of the game and fly from there. Eve is the Venus of the game and is still different from it in many ways.
Eve is purple and is bigger than Kerbin, it also like Venus has a thicker atmosphere than Earth. However Eve's atmosphere is only 5 times thicker than both Earth and Kerbin, while the Venusian atmosphere is 99 times thicker.
This was to give an idea of what we are starting with so people are not to confused in the story.
