Your POV

I've been working non-stop. I really need this pay. Every job available, I take. The office is full of people but I do mostly all of the work and everyone gets bothered by it. I don't mind doing the jobs because it means I'm doing well. I don't like being “lazy”, it was not the way I was raised.

“Right, Tracy, I need you to run these files through the printer.” My boss said. I don't know why she didn't just ask me but I kept quiet as I didn't want to be distracting or be distracted. I continued my day by giving my boss her coffee. I went to walk off but I was stopped by the boss calling my name. I looked at her and she took me into her office.

“ Hello, Y/N,” My boss said.

“Hi, Boss” I replied.

“Listen, I need to be blunt with you, I don't want you to be doing all these mini jobs anymore.”

“Why?”

“I want you doing something else instead. I want you to be here five a.m. sharp. In this room, with my coffee, waiting for me.”

“Y-yes Boss,” I stuttered out, being polite — well trying to be. I wanted to find out why but I tried to ignore it.

“Good, little one,” My boss smirked.

How'd she find out!? No one knows except for me! I don't even have social media or anything out of work! I haven't even told anyone!

I was so confused. I wanted answers right then and there.
