Diana's P.O.V
Februrary 1981
It's been months since that kiss and it's still in my memories. I just talked to Charles through phone since he's in Switzerland, skiing. And tomorrow he'll come back and on the day after we will have a date and I'm looking forward to that day.
Charles's P.O.V
Here in the alps and about to go home to the U.K and missing Diana so much I just can't wait to see her and can't wait to give her a surprise and by surprise I mean Engagement! I just arrived and now I'm on my way to Buckingham Palace to tell the news to my parents and tomorrow I'll propose to Diana
The Day After
Diana's P.O.V
It's the day I'm seeing him and I'm on my way to Buckingham Palace to have a dinner for two for short for Charles and I.
I arrive at the palace and I was walking one the hallway to the place where Charles and I will have dinner then I slowed down and saw a man standing on the end of the hallway.
It's Charles
He walked to me and I walked to him then we were running to each other then I hugged him and he hugged me back. Then be kissed me on the lips and I kissed back. We broke apart then he said
"It's so good to see you"
"I know' I said with a smile
We walked to his apartment in Buckingham Palace then ate dinner. It was good. We talked about what happened when he was not around then after dinner he told me to sit on the sofa
"I will only ask this question once so please hear me" he stated and I nodded
"When I saw you in Phillip's birthday I fell in love with you and those weeks that we jokes, talked and more. I was the most happiest man on earth" he said as he breath heavily
"So will you marry me?" he asked "I know you're going to Auatralia in two days so you can think about it" he continued
"Yes" I said
"Yes as in you'll marry me?"
I smiles and said "Yes"
He kisses me then he said "I don't have the ring because I'll let you chose it"
I laughed then said "Ok" then we kiised again
I realized I'll be the Princess of Wales and future Queen of England
We talked as he will tell his parents the news and we even talked about Andrew and Edward's reaction. We will announce our Engagement as I get back in England from Australia. We said our Goodbyes and I head back to my flat which I will tell my flatmates my secret CORRECTION our secret.
I entered my flat with the biggest smile on my face. Then Carolyn walked to me
"What happened Di?" she asked
"What does that smile mean?" asked Olivia who is my other flatmate
"Well..." I said "I'm engaged" I said
"Engaged as in getting married?" Olivia asked
My other flatmate Emily gasped as she listened to our conversation
"Yes" I answered
The three squealed and began saying things like "Oh my god" "You're gonna be Queen of England" "That's amazing" we had a small celebration
Weeks later,
Im back from the land down under and I told my parents and step parents the engagement. And they were delighted and Sarah and Jane are happy and relieved as thry said "Finally he found the right girl" and "finally you found your boy". And as for Edwaed, well he's happy since he'll be the Brother in law of the Future King of England and the Princes and Princess of United Kingdom. Oh Edward's such a lord.
So on this day the 24th of February 1981. Charles and I will announce our engagement then we will take a stroll.....with the photographers then we will have an interview. Oh God. Ot's only weeks since our engagement and we're already busy! So now we'll do things on our schedule and plan for the wedding. Oh my engahement ring is so beautiful by the way. It's sapphire with 14 diamonds around it. Well I have some buisness to do.
