"We're friends"

It had been days now. Both shawn and tom seemed pretty happy and would hang out all the time.
But of course living in the eye of the public nothing could be private.
It was just a matter if days before people started realizing tom and shawn were very close, by now the paparazzi would surround both of them with only questions like, "how did you guys meet and how are you so close?"
It seemed that it was pretty clear to everyone that there was more than just friendship going between the two of them.
The only answer they would get is, "we're friends".
But the questions got even harder to dodge after a photo of them kissing went viral.
Although it was from far and quite blurry, it was clear that it was two boys kissing and with the height and them being there the same day made people eager.

"Hey tom" shawn said stroking Tom's hair. Tom was laying in his lap and watching TV.
"Yeah babe?"
"Don't you think things are getting out of hand?"
"What do you mean babe?" Tom said getting up quickly
"Everywhere we go the only questions we get asked about is if there is something between us" Shawn said seeming a bit tensed.
"Hey, listen it'll be okay. Tell me something, would you have a problem if the public knew about us?"
Tom said looking eagerly in Shawn's eyes.
"It wouldn't be a problem, but more scared i would be. But you know what? All i want is to kiss you in public without any worries, hold your hand while walking and love you all day." Shawn had a sparkle in his eye all of a sudden.
"Hey then it's fine, if that us how you feel then we're fine, we've got nothing to worry about."
"Okay then are you sure we should make it public?" Shawn said
"Yeah i am, are you?"
"Yes!" Shawn said without delay
Shawn gave Tom a kiss in the lips and Tom put shawn hair in place.
The lighting and the fireplace was making the moment intense.
The kiss was now progressing to the neck.
"Wait wait" Tom went aback.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't have any condoms today." Tom said looking disappointed
"Well, we both know we're safe..and we've been together for a while, so i was thinking..."
"Really? You sure?"
"Yeah we don't need a condom" Shawn gave a wink.
