"I been told you my mama want me home and you over here driving all slow. You acting like you don't care." Leek said with a mug on his face.

"Bitch i'm not acting, you 23 and still live with your mother. Ain't my fault you still got a curfew." Liyah commented as she pulled into Leeks mother driveway.

"Mmcht, you gone be alright with that dude back there? You know yo ass can't fight." Leek said making Liyah laugh.

"Bye Leek." She said chuckling.

Boonk was in the backseat with no emotion on his face. He wasn't accepting the fact that his brother died right infront of his face.

Him and his brother weren't exactly close, they just tolerated each other. But no matter what they've been through, that's still his brother and he couldn't help but feel sorrow.

Leek closed the car door, leaving Liyah and Boonk in the car alone.

"If you do decide to do something stupid, Leek already know who you are and how you look. You ain't gone get away with it." said Liyah.

"Yeah ok." He scoffed.

Liyah took off, and went back to Mellows house. While driving, she thought about what she just did.

She was told to never show remorse or sympathy to no one. She was also taught death before dishonor, it's not like she wanted to kill Gus, but if she didn't she'll be the bad guy. She'll rather be killed before going against her gang.

"So what's the point of taking me? I ain't the one who stole y'all money."

"You could possibly tell someone I killed him, boy i'm scared to go to jail." She said.

"What make you think i'll snitch on you? I sell weed, I kill people too." He said making Liyah look back at him with a mug.

"Rule number 1, never admit anything, take that shit to the grave." She said then started laughing. "Why would you tell me that? Let me go tell the police chile."

"I know you kill people, you know I do. If you snitch on me, i'll snitch on you." He added.

a/n - ouu that rhymed 😏

Liyah thought about what he said, but didn't bother saying anything.

She pulled into Mellows drive way, and parked the car.

"Come on." She said unlocking the door. He slowly walked behind her, wondering what he was walking into to.

"You killed him?" Mellow questioned. "Who that be?"

"Yes, and this his brother." Liyah said putting her 2 fingers up indicating quotation marks.

"Ok, so why he over here?"

"Where else be gone go?" Liyah asked.

"He going with you, you the one who took him. Take care of him." He said making Liyah mug him.

"Alright, and get someone to clean up Gus house."

Boonk stood in silence, and watched his surroundings. He noticed how Liyah was very obedient towards Mellow. Almost like she didn't want to disappoint him.

"Come on Boonk." She said walking out the door making him follow behind him.

"You could really just take me home." He said while hopping in the car.

"You can really just hush, my head hurt." She said.

"Aye." He said looking her in the eye, "Watch how you talk to me, you already done killed my brother, cut me some slack."

Liyah kept quiet, and it stayed that way for the rest of the ride. She was exhausted and all she wanted to do was crash in her bed.

When Liyah arrived to her house, her and Boonk got out and walked to the front door.

"Follow me." Liyah said walking upstairs.

He let out a sigh before walking upstairs, and into Liyahs room. She gave him blankets and covers and laid it on the futon that was in her room.

Boonk walked to the futon and put his hands in his face. Everything rushed back to him, his past, his life, his brother, all came back to his mind. A tear slipped out his eyes, and he started sniffling.

"Nigga shut up with that crying, i'm trynna sleep just  sleep on the pain." She said getting comfortable in her bed.

"Bitch shut the fuck up, don't tell me how to handle something you've never been through."

"What makes you think i've never been through that?" She questioned. "Maybe if my father didn't get killed infront of my face I wouldn't be in situations like this."

"Oh, and maybe if my mom didn't leave me when my father died, you wouldn't be sitting in this room. Please don't try to tell me i ain't been through nothing when you don't even know the half of it."  She scoffed.

What she said left Boonk speechless. He didn't want so show sympathy, but he thought if he buttered up to her, she'll let him go home.

"Aye girl my fault."

"You don't have to apologize, just stop talking to me. Go to sleep." She said.

He realized how smart her mouth was, and it took everything in him not to snap back at her.

He laid the cover out, and got comfortable. The room filled with silence as he tried to go to sleep.

"Boonk." Liyah said.

"Wha?"

"Sorry for killing your brother." She whispered.

"What you say?"

"Nevermind."
