Thirst ached in my throat as the blood pumped through her veins. I've never smelt something so amazing in all my years of living, or should I say not living. If it wasn't for the fact that this place was crowded with people, I would drain every single drop of her blood. I can only imagine the sweetness that would linger on my tongue. I bite my lip as she approached me.
"Can I get you something else?" Her pink lips curved into a smile.
I let one side of my mouth raise. "Please," I said, seductively.
She poured more tequila into the shot glass that was placed in front of me. Her eyebrow raised as I downed the shot within seconds. She poured more after I nodded towards the now empty glass. "Slow down there tiger!" She laughed.
"I'm just so..thirsty," I sighed.
"And definitely not a light weight!" She smiled. "I'm Dani." Her warm hand reached for mine.
"Damon."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Damon."
"Pleasure is all mine," I flashed my million dollar smile. ’Trust me.’ My phone buzzed in my pocket. “I’m a little busy right now, Stefan.” I answered. She smiled before walking away. I turned in the chair and stepped off.
“Where are you?” My brother asked. He always tries to get in the way of everything.
“Out, gotta go." I said as I shut my phone, cutting him off. I watched as Dani served her other customers. I took in a deep breath and walked out the door.
A few hours passed while I watched people go in and out of the bar. The rush of people walked out of the bar as the bouncer locked the door. I smiled knowing the time was coming.
"Goodnight Sam," I heard Dani say from the door.
I walked up the alley and turned the corner, running into Dani. "Oh, excuse me." I curved one side of my mouth up into another half smile. I let my hands fall from my hold I had on her.
"You're fine," she smiled. Her eyes watched as I bit my lip. "I usually don't do this but," she paused, "Would you like to walk me home?"
Finally. "Sure." I stepped beside her. "You know, you shouldn't walk home at night..it's not safe."
She giggled. "In Mystic Falls? Please. Nothing happens here."
I shrugged, "I guess." I followed as she turned down the alley where I waited for her. She slowed down then came to a stop. I looked into her eyes as she aggressively pushed me into the side of the building, her lips crashing on mine. I let my hand slide up her back, gripping her hair between my fingers.
"Sorry," she pulled away. "I normally don't do that." She fixed her hair. "Um, maybe we can go out tomorrow or something? I'm off."
"Sure, sure."
"I'm gonna say goodnight here."
"Goodnight." I watched as she walked away. I shook my head. "You know," she started to turn around before I ran and stood on the opposite side. She slowly turned back around.
"Whoa, how'd you.." Her eyes widened.
"I don't think I can wait till tomorrow." Her mouth opened to scream when she saw me bare my teeth. "Ah, ah, ah. We don't want people to hear us, do we?" I smirked as my hand rushed to her mouth. I slowly went in, kissing her neck before I let my teeth sink in. I sucked her sweet blood down fast. Her body went limp in my hand before I finished.
After I finished, I let her body fall to the ground. I licked away the blood that tingled on my lips. "I was right, I couldn't wait," I giggled before walking away.
