My Best Friends Brother

Chapter 1

Soobin and Taehyun were walking through the city of Seoul. They were going to walk to a convenience store to grab a few snacks and they went to the park to walk around and eat. "What do you want to eat?" Soobin asked Taehyun. "I'll just get a bag of chips." Taehyun said. "Alright." Soobin said, ruffling his younger brother's hair. "You're messing up my hair!" Taehyun said, slapping Soobin's hands. "Okay okay." Soobin said, putting his hands up in defeat. A boy with pink hair walked into the convenience store. "Wow, he is so attractive." Soobin thought to himself. Taehyun went and walked up to the pink haired boy. "YEONJUN!!!" Taehyun yelled and ran over to him. Soobin followed Taehyun over to the boy and started to get nervous. "Hi Taehyun, who is this?" Yeonjun asked. "This is my brother, he is quite shy." Taehyun said. "Hi, I'm Soobin. Choi Soobin." Soobin said to introduce himself. "Oh, and Soobin, this is one of my friends from university. I am surprised you two haven't met since you're in the same year." Taehyun said. "Anyways, why is your hair messy Taehyun?" Yeonjun asked. "This blue headed giraffe kept messing with it while we were in line to get snacks. " Taehyun said angrily. Soobin and Yeonjun both tried to hold in their laughs but Yeonjun laughed very hard which made Soobin laugh. "It's not funny!" Taehyun said, hitting both of them. "So, are you guys getting the snacks for anything in particular?" Yeonjun asked. "Yeah we are going on a walk in the park if you'd like to join, unless you want to sit around your house all day, which is totally fine with me." Taehyun said sarcastically. "You know what, I will come but me and Soobin will stay together." Yeonjun said as he went to grab Soobin's hand. "Fine then." Taehyun said, storming off to the cash register. Taehyun, Soobin, and Yeonjun followed Taehyun to the cash register as he paid. Soobin and Yeonjun were still holding hands. Soobin noticed it the entire time but it didn't bother him. They started to walk to the park. "I'll race you." Taehyun said to Yeonjun. "I'll beat you." Yeonjun said then winked. Yeonjun let go of Soobin's hand and started to run, leaving Soobin behind. Soobin was just standing there looking at his hand. His hand was suddenly cold from the presence of his hand leaving. He started to jog behind them.
When the boys arrived at the park, Yeonjun won the race. They went to the playground and started to mess around and act like kids. "Soobin! Come push us in the swing." Yeonjun and Taehyun yelled. Soobin was sitting on the bench eating while listening to the 2 boys yelling. Yeonjun may be older than him but he sure didn't act like it. "Sure I'm coming." Soobin said to the boys. Soobin walked over to them and started to push Taehyun first. He went back and forth in between the two. When he went to Yeonjun, he started to get nervous. He grabbed the chain to the swing and pulled Yeonjun up and pushed him. Yeonjun started to go into the air as Soobin pushed them. Once the two got high into the air, Soobin stepped out of their way. He looked at them from the side and watched them. "Why are you so strong? I feel like I am going to fly off." Yeonjun yelled. "I agree Yeonjun!" Taehyun yelled. Soobin started to laugh as he heard them yell. They started to slow down so they both got off. "Look at your hair!" Yeonjun said as they got off the swing. "It isn't as bad as yours." Taehyun said back to Yeonjun. "Both of your guys' hair is messy." Soobin said. Yeonjun walked over to Soobin. "Can you fix my hair please." Yeonjun said pouting. "I guess I could do that." Soobin said. Soobin pinched Yeonjun's cheek and started to fix his hair. "Why are you being so touchy, he is a boy, remember." Taehyun said. "And what's important about gender?" Yeonjun shot back. "It's not right for a boy to like a boy." Taehyun said. "Who says I like him or he likes me?" Yeonjun said. "You have a point." Taehyun said.
Soobin went back to fixing Yeonjun's hair. Once Soobin finished fixing Yeonjun's hair, he went over to Taehyun and fixed his hair as well. They decided to leave the park. "Can I get your phone number? It was really fun hanging out with you and we should plan to do it again." Yeonjun said. "Of course, I had fun too." Soobin said. Soobin then gave Yeonjun his phone number and then they went their ways back home. Yeonjun lived in an apartment by himself and Soobin and Taehyun lived in a big apartment together. Soobin and Taehyun's parents didn't live near the university so they moved to an apartment. Yeonjun's parents live far away as well so he had to get his own apartment. When Yeonjun got home, he went to go make himself dinner. As he was cooking, he was thinking about Soobin and how nice he was. He also thought Soobin was very handsome. He was tall, he had a nice smile, and he was shy. It was getting quite late so Yeonjun went into his bed and laid there. Soobin and Taehyun did the same even though they weren't together. A few minutes later, Soobin heard his phone ringing, it was Yeonjun calling him. "Hello?" Soobin said into his phone. "Hey Soobin, do you want to hang out again tomorrow?" Yeonjun asked. "Well sure, where and what time?" Soobin said. "We can just walk around the city and we can meet at the convenience store around 1:30pm." Yeonjun said. "Alright." Soobin said. "Oh, and don't bring your brother." Yeonjun said. "Well I couldn't anyways, he has class." Soobin said. "Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow, giraffe." Yeonjun said as he quickly hung up. Soobin chuckled then put his phone on the charger and went to sleep.
