Adya POV

I woke up feeling tired and then noticed the place I am staying is different,  it's a dark coloured room with expensive and elegant furniture and I am lying in a king sized bed ,so soft and comfortable. Then memories flooded in my mind.

Oh,no I am in a deep shit.

Hey , conciousness you were the one who lead to this I was not myself then.

Why did even tell about his girlfriend when it's his sister. I must looked as desperate for his love. So embarrassing. Yet he said he love me and care for me.
No Adya don't trust anyone,  cause you never know what's their motive.

Why he will tell you when you were injured and sick. He took care of you and also respected you for you have mask on. He could have easily taken advantage.

Whatever,  for now my only priority is going to india for those children and maybe celebrate janmashtami there and tell saranya that I won't  come.  I will visit them explain why I can't come they will understand. I will ask priya , ella if she can take leave and come.and will maybe invite my colleagues.

Yes, then I got up feeling dizzy , slowly I started walking. I was about to stumble.
When someone caught me , oh nice smell.

" what are you trying to do " I saw him looking towards me with worry filled eyes .

I averted my eyes from his handsome face ,cause everytime I look into his eyes ,, I remember what he said.

Man , I am in deep trouble.

"I am trying to go to my place , of course "

" you will not " he said sternly.

I said " who are you to control me, huh. I am sorry for calling you for help. I thankfully to you but now I am totally fine"

He smirked said " that I can see"

" even if I am little weak , I am still stronger than you "

He rolled his eyes and said " I totally believe that but how are you feeling "

Then I steadied myself said " I am fine and tomorrow I will go to India at any cost"

He replied instantly " no, and by the way yesterday you were knocked off and so you were suppose to go today"

Then I said " yes ! But it doesn't matter I will do tomorrow and did I say something weird while I was unconscious cause I don't remember anything "

He looked at me for sometime and that was nerve racking me inside .

Then said " yes , that you love me"

I was suddenly shocked said " no don't lie , oh god"

He said " fine no nothing "

Then he said " why are you being harsh on yourself "

I said not looking at him that " i am not being harsh on myself "

He said " you are , you are hiding yourself "

I was about to contradict when door bell rang I saw the time its 5 AM.
Then I looked at him , when a person came

He was tall , muscular and intense with  straight face .

Xander said " thomas who is it "

The guy named thomas said " its Jessica "

Then he left with Xander nodding, wow  he has assistant/butler 24 ×7 , it's good to rich. Huh , yet many don't have something to eat . Who is she, why do I feel betrayed when I knew he was buffing.

I was in my thoughts when Xander said " you go back to the room , I will be there after a while"

I said " no need I will go if you can just lend me your mobile i have to make call "

He said " i won't let you go but take the phone"
Then he unlocked his mobile and handed me .

I dialed priya no. And she received right then , I said " hello priya , I am Adya sorry to disturb"

She said " you are not disturbing , what happened any problem in coming to India "

I said " yes , I can't come to india today,  so you have to handle the situation there and I will surely come tomorrow "

She said " what happened "

I said " it's a long story,  in short I got shot in leg so I can't come today. I will come tomorrow "

She said " don't worry about them , I can handle that area and please don't stress yourself,  you need a break , you can't live like that"

I said " don't underestimate my curse , I am strong.  Fire all of them . And recruit other workers. I will take to you later"

She said " I know there is someone near you "
I said " yes "
Then hung up.

I said to Xander " thanks and I want to return "

He said " you are stubborn as rock , fine  I will escort you to your home after you have breakfast here and what about firing and hiring"

I shook my head said " listen I once said I don't eat outside and the other thingis personal."

He said " not even if I make "

I chuckled said " I don't think you can cook "

He was about to say something ,
Then I heard a female voice shouting and calling brother.
Huh what's happening.

Then the same women that I saw yesterday came in my view , she rushed towards Xander and hugged him. Oh so her name is Jessica,  Xander sister.

Then she said " Zack has been calling me since yesterday and message  that he will come for me. I don't want to face him , when he just didn't trust me to hear me "

Then was crying,  Xander expression changed into range said " i could easily destroy him you know if you didn't stopped me."

He was indeed a protective big brother. Wow , I wish I had one. Sigh.

Then she turned towards me and then looked at Xander with a displeasing look said " I thought you have changed this few months,  after the mysterious woman came into your life . I see no ."

Then she turned towards me said " you can leave now " harshly.

I said " you might be getting wrong cause I am not that you are thinking of who I am. I am his assistant,  Adya Sharma.  Also ex-assistant of Mr.Robert , your father. I am here cause he was helping me as I was injured "

Then her eyes widened which was all puffed and red due to crying. Then she looked towards Xander and smirked knowingly and then turned towards me with sorry face said " I am sincerely sorry,  I happened to be in my worse state and then without even knowing the truth I accused you I am really sorry."
