KARL POV

"Karl," I felt someone shaking me awake, "wake up Karl. Someone named Jimmy is here and he wants to talk to you."

"Jimmy is here?! Crap do I have work today?" I jumped up and got on a hoodie, I put on the black with gold MrBeast hoodie.

"Karl, whos she?" He looked at me and winked.

"She's my friend from middle school and my new roommate." I smiled awkwardly.

"Okay well we have to go to the warehouse to film. Are you ready..?" Jimmy looked at April and smiled.

"Yeah I am ready, go wait in the car I will be there in a moment." Jimmy walked out after I said that.

"You have work?" April stared at me, "When will you be home?"

"I don't know but I can call you when I am leaving and I will pick up some food." I waved goodbye then ran outside to the car.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Jimmy questioned

"No, just a friend. She used to like me in high school but I don't know if she still does. I also think she used to like me before we stopped talking. We were really great friends but I screwed it up."

"Okay well, we got some filming to do today."

APRIL POV

Was that MrBeast/Jimmy? The one Karl was talking about.. He seems nice, did I make a good impression, what if I was rude? I am overthinking right? Yeah, I think I should clean to make my mind get away. I started cleaning the kitchen and the next thing I knew the whole house was spotless, what time was it? 4PM?! I was cleaning for 5 hours, holy crap. My phone started ringing and I went over to it and checked, Karl was facetiming me.

I answered.

April: "Hey Kar Ka- I mean hey Karl."

Karl: "Did you just call me KarKar? You used to call me that in high school." He started laughing

April: "Sorry! It used to be a habit, are you coming home?"

Karl: "Yeah, what do you want to eat. McDonalds or Burger King?"

April: "McDonalds! Can you get me a 10 piece chicken nugget with large fries and a coke. I will pay you back don't worry."

Karl: "You don't have to and okay I just ordered it and I will pick it up now. See you soon Apy" He winked.

April: "Hey you used to call m~!" He hung up on me, my face was bright red. 

He used to flirt with me when using that name. He is so annoying, I decided to sit on the couch and turn on the tv while I wait for him. I started watching a movie called After, it was pretty interesting and about 20 minutes in the movie Karl walked through the door and hugged me from behind. I screamed because I got scared, he gave me my food and started watching the movie with me. I started to cry because there was a part where she got dumped. Karl pulled me close and hugged me. He wiped my tears and then giggled. I lay my head on his shoulder and ended up falling asleep. 

I woke up around two hours later and I was on the couch in Karl's streaming room. He was streaming so I didn't want to disturb him, he didn't know I was awake so I was listening to him talk to his chat.

"Chat! She is just my roommate, I know she is really pretty, and nice, and smart, and beautiful. Wait what am I saying-" Karl was reading his chat spam, "NO CHAT! I don't like her.. I least I don't think I do.. I don't know! Stop asking chat."

I decided to get up and hug him from behind and whisper something in his here to make chat freak out,

"You are also pretty cute yourself Kar-Kar" I winked at chat and pulled up a chair next to him.

He turned completely red from blushing and his chat noticed. They were all spamming ship stuff and there was some rude comments but we both ignored them. I decided to say something about it just to make chat stop spamming so Karl would be less embarrassed.

"Chat! We are just friends, I swear. Karl and I would never lie to you. How about instead of spamming about us quote on quote liking each other you spam him to teach me how to play Minecraft better."

They all started spamming and Karl moved back in his chair and I sat in front of him. He put his hands over mine and was really close. I was super red and I think he noticed so he put his head on me for a moment then moved away. Chat noticed and started spamming simp, he smiled and decided to say,

"Maybe I am, maybe I am not. You will never know nimrods."

I looked behind me and rolled my eyes. He continued to teach me how to play and once he finished and ended his stream he picked me up and put me over his shoulder. He carried me to his room and threw me on the bed. He decided to lay next to me and sit there doing nothing for about 2 minutes. I turned the away and faced away from him, I felt him move and put his arm around me. How come everyone I lay with always gets big spoon, its unfair. I could hear Karl drift away into his sleep and decided to whisper in his ear,

"I missed you so much Karl, if only you knew how much I used to like you.." 

After that I fell asleep in his arms, it was like we were dating. But we were not, and I don't think we would ever date anyways. He doesn't like me in that way, he said it on his stream. 

KARL POV

I fell asleep with her in my arms, I wasn't fully asleep and I heard her whisper something to me. She said that she used to like me, and I also used to like her but I was bad at expressing my feelings. I decided to fall asleep but around a hour later I woke up and saw that April was on her phone I decided to start tickling her hair and i felt her turn my way and put her head on my chest. Did she like me or was this just a friend thing that she does? Do I like her, I mean I do blush a lot. But it has only been a few days since we saw each other after a year of not talking. Maybe I do like her, I don't know. But if I do I am going to have to hold it off. She was just so pretty, and kind, and sweet, and just so pretty. Did I say she was pretty, because if I didn't I am saying she is pretty. She is the sweetest person I have ever met. I wish we didn't stop talking, I think I might actually like her....

Sorry this chapter took so long, I have had writer block but the next chapter might be a time skip.. Should I do a time skip or just keep the process of them being friends for now? I am trying to make this realistic so I don't want them to date after 3 days of knowing each other. Please give me advice. Anyways! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! </3
