I was new to the Dream SMP. Most of us had just ended our stream. We were all hanging out in VC, I had muted myself. I texted my Nick, my boyfriend, we had recently moved in together. We were figuring out what movie we'd watch later.

I snapped back to the VC when I heard my name mentioned by.. Quackity?

"Look, Clay. I just don't think Y/N was the right person to add."

"Look Quackit-"

"Dude, she's annoying, she isn't helpful at all."

I sat back in my chair, what he had said really hit me hard. Normally I wouldn't let something like this get to me, but gaming was my outlet, am I really that annoying?

I had zoned out for a minute when I heard Nick unmute and speak up.

"Dude what the fuck-"

Quackity was quick to defend himself

"What it's not like you would like her or something"

I could tell Nick was pissed, we had kept our relationship private and planned on doing so, well were going to do so.

"Well seen as she is my fucking girlfriend- Yeah I do."

Quackity was quick to leave the VC, then Nick, then me. Everyone was pinging both of us in chat, asking questions. I just shut down my PC and headed to the living room. I heard Nick coming downstairs. He went to go turn the corner to go to my recording room, but he seen me on the couch.

He sat down beside and just pulled me into his chest. I don't know why I was being so emotional over this, it was such a silly thing.

We ended up watching Mulan for the rest of the night before I fell asleep. Nick holding me tight.
