I'll See You When I Come Back

This takes place in the original traphouse

Corey's POV

Flashback

"ELTON" I screamed, trying to find my best friend. I had an awesome video idea for us, but I wanted his opinion on it. I walked around the whole house, trying to find him until I came across four letters taped on the fridge, one with each name on it.

Colby
Aaron
Corey
No Elton..

I quickly grabbed the one with my name on it and opened it.

Dear Corey Scherer,

            I'm sorry I had to do this. I'm trying to find home, so I went out. I will come back, I just don't know when. Don't cry, please. You know I don't like it when you cry. You're my best friend, Corey, never forget that. I love you. I'll see you when I come back.

From, Elton Castee.'

I felt tear brim my eyes as I read. Why would he leave me? I don't know what to do. I try to call him, no answer. I tried a couple more times and never got an answer. I ran up to my room and locked it, and started to cry my eyes out. I hung the letter up, so I never forget him.

"I love you too." I whispered to myself, still crying.

Present

It's been almost two years and he's still all I can think about. We got a new roomate, Jake. We got along well, but he still wasn't Elton. I walked downstairs to join my roomates on the couch and play rocket league. We played for about an hour, laughing and having fun, until we heard a knock on the door.

"NOT IT!" They all said in unison, so of course I had to get up and get it. I walked to the door and opened it, immediatly starting to cry.

"Hi.." he said. I didn't know what to say, I was speechless. Instead of saying anything, I hugged him as tight as I could. I never wanted to let go, in fear he would disappear. I heard him sniffle, meaning he was crying too. After a couple minutes, we let go and stared into each others eyes.

"Hey.." I said, breaking the silence. We hugged again before A COUPLE OF IDIOTS interrupted us.

"Corey, what's taking so long? Who's at the door?" Colby asked as he and Sam walked up to us. They saw Elton and gave him a hug. We all walked into the front room where Jake and Aaron are. They both gave him a hug, then we all had a group hug.

"I can't believe you're back. I missed you, so much." I said, eyes still red and puffy from crying.

"And I'm here to stay." He said. "But can I stay here for a little before I get an apartment?"  We all said yeah, then talked for a little. The sun soon set and everyone went off into their separate rooms, besides Elton and I.

"You can stay in my room, I'll sleep on the couch." I said being nice.

"No, we can share the bed. I don't mind." He said and I blushed. We both walk up into my room, and talked some more. We ended up playing truth or dare.

"Okay okay, Corey, truth or dare.?"

"Truth."

"Who do you like?" He asked a looked at me. I did not want to answer, as he is who I like.

"Dare."

"I dare you to tell me who you like." He smirked and looked at me. I started fiddling with the hem of my shirt.

"I like you." I mumbled, trying to be quiet so he wouldnt hear me. With my luck, he did.

"Corey, you like me." I looked away so he wouldn't see me cry. I was so embarrassed. He then grabbed my chin, pulled it to make me look at him, wipe some tears, and kissed me. I was shocked at first, but soon kissed back. I never wanted this to end. "I like you too Corey, you are my home." He smile and so did I.

We kissed again before Sam and Colby walked in, interrupting us AGAIN.

"AHH GET A ROOM." They screamed.

"WERE IN A ROOM, LEAVE IT." I screamed back playfully, then we all start laughing. They left and Elton and I went to bed.

The next day

Elton and I were in my room again and we were just talking. We got onto the topic of tattoos.

"Ooo, wenshould get matching tattoos." I said, excitedly.

"Sure, but what?" He asked. We thought for a little until I had an idea.

"How about we both get the words 'I love you' in each others hand writing?"

"That's an amazing idea." So that's what we did. We wrote I love you on different papers, the handed them to each other. We drove to the tattoo parlor thing, and got the tattoos. He went first and I was about to go.

"I need to go make a phone call, I'll be back." He said, and walked out.

Elton's POV

"I need to go make a phone call, I'll be back." I said then walked out to the car. I drove down the street and bought a bouquet of roses. I walked back to the tattoo parlor and waited outside. Soon, Corey came out.

"Corey, you make me so happy and I am so mad at myself that I left such an amazing man. If I hadn't left, we could've been doing this longer but my dumbass did. Anyway, I love you so fucking much Corey. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to get married someday and adopt some kids. What I'm trying to say is, Corey Scherer, will you be my boyfriend?"

By the end of my speech, he had his hand in front of his mouth and he was crying. So was I. He nodded his head yes, i gave him the flowers and we shared a long kiss. We got into the car, and we were on our way to announce that we were finally together. This man makes me so happy.

OKAY SO I AM MAD BECAUSE I GOT DONE WITH THE CHAPTER THEN WATTPAD CRASHED AND NONE OF IT SAVED. AN HOUR OF MY TIME WAS LOST but anyway, chapter one :)
