Elton's POV

I am planning a video for the whole house. I want us all go to an abandoned mall and explore. I asked everyone if they wanted to go, and it ended up just being me and Corey. Aaron said no and Sam and Colby had a fan meet up thing. I'm not complaining that it's only me and Corey, I just wish someone else would come so I don't make a fool out of myself.

"Hey Corey, you ready?" I said walking into his room.

"Yeah let me just grab my phone and let's go." We walked out to the car, not having to say bye to anyone since no one was there. It was silent for a little, it wasn't a comfortable silence but it wasn't awkward. I was driving and Corey was staring out the window, deep in thought.

"Hey Elton?" He turned his head towards me.

"Yeah?"

"Have you ever been in love before?" He said while looking back outside. Why would he bring up this question? How do I answer?

"I don't really know. I think so.." I answered, not telling the full truth. I have been in love, in fact I am. I am in love with the man beside me, my best friend, Corey Scherer. "Have you?"

"I think I am right now.." he answered. I knew he wasn't talking about me but there was a little bit of hope in me that he was. "Would you mind telling me who, Elton?"

"Maybe later because were here and we have to record." I parked the car a decent bit away so we have to walk towards the mall. It was a lot bigger in real life the it was in the pictures and took us about 20 minutes to get in.

I start to record the surrounding when we soon heard a loud bang. We got scared.

"Elton, we should find somewhere else to explore." Corey whispered.

"No, it was one bang and it was probably nothing. Plus I promised the fans wed film here." I whispered back. He sighed.

"Fine but let's go somewhere else in the building, like the roof." We started walking up to the roof and right before we hit the top, there was another bang. We hurried up the stairs and I turn off the camera. We were sitting down but were still trembling.

"What was that?" He asked. It took me about a minute or so to respond.

"Someone was in there with us." I said. I didn't want to tell him but he needed to know. "I didn't tell you but right before the second bang, I heard someone talking. They said 'get out'."

He looked scared and tears brimmed his eyes. I quickly get up and hug him. He hugs back. "We don't have to stat, we can leave if you really want to." I said, not wanting him to be too scared.

"No, you promised the fans and I don't wanna let them down."

We stayed on the roof for another hour or so, then decided to go back in the mall to try and explore more. We walk down the stairs and see a hole in the wall. We walk up to it and see the police, staring back at us.

"GET OUT OF THERE THEN PUT YOUR HANDS UP." They yelled up at us. We run away, back to the roof, waiting until they leave. We got to the roof and sat down, and I started recording.

"Hey guys, so we went back down there and right as I was about to record saw the police."

"Yeah they started yelling at us and we rN. Were criminals now guys." Corey said laughing. I laughed too and we joked around for the camera. At some point while we were laughing, a gunshot rang through are years.

"What was that?" Corey said frantically. I grab the camera and pointed down the stairs with it. I didnt see anyone so Corey and I booked it down the stairs and outside. As soon as we got outside, the police spotted us.

"I got this." I handed the camera to Corey and he secretly recorded me. I talked to the police for a little and all they did was give me a ticket for trespassing. Corey stopped recording and we went to the car.

"They only gave me a ticket so we got lucky." I said to the camera. We finished the outro and turned off the camera.

"That was horrifying, I never want to come back again." Corey said, staring out the window again.

"Why did you ask me if I've ever been in love earlier?"

"I don't know, I guess because I.. love you?" He mumbled the last part, but I heard it.

"I love you too, Corey. Would you be my boyfriend?" He kissed me and I was surprised, but I kissed back.

"Does that answer your question?"

"I don't know, you better answer it again."

Ten years later

"And it was all thanks to that video that we got married and adopted you, Charlie." Corey said to our 4 year old son, on the way to preschool. I am so happy to have these two boys in my life.
