y/n opened the door to see mattia standing there with his body slightly wet. she stood there in shock not knowing what to do. as for mattia he was jumping up and down on the inside.
"mattia?" she managed to get out
"hi princess"
tears began to come out of her eyes. once mattia noticed he immediately reached out to her.
"hey hey don't cry"
he held onto her face wiping her tears tears away. he held her as if she was a fragile flower. he was gentle. they immediately wrapped there arms around each other letting tear go down on each other.
"i missed you so much" she said
"i missed you too" he responded with a smile
he had his hands around her waist running his hands through her hair. there was silence. good silence. she felt the warmth of his body and the comfort of his presence. they both loved it

it felt like fireworks were going all throughout my body. i felt happy for once. i inhaled her scent to smell the same sweet floral smell. i smiled getting a rush of memories go through me. we let go and i see tears stained on my hoodie and on her cheeks
"i'm sorry" she said wiping her tears
"no it's ok 𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑙"
she let out a small smile. i started to lean in when got interrupted by a phone
"omg" she whispered
she answered it
"hey"
"did you land safely?"
"no i'm fine"
"ok me too"
i heard a faint 'i love you' making my face fall
"that your bf?" i asked her
she looked down as if she was disappointed
"yeah" she answered
"oh"
silence came upon us again
"are you hungry?"

as the two ate, they talked about the times they had. throughout the whole thing they were both feeling butterflies in their stomachs. it was if they were teenagers again. once they were done they made it up to her room and he sat on her bed.
"here" she said handing him some clothes
"thank you" he responded
he started to walk to the bathroom when he stopped
"y/n?"
"yeah?"
"can i see our kid?"
they both walked in the little boys room seeing him sound asleep. mattia let out some tears as he came closer to his kid
"he looks like me"
"he does"

i couldn't believe it. my heat was beating fast as i walked closer. i ran my hand through his hair feeling the softness of it.
'he's my kid' i thought
"what's his name?"
"alessio"
"does he carry my last name?"
"yes"
i was expecting her to say no but surprisingly she said yes
"is your bf ok with that?"
"yeah" she said in a low tone
i had a feeling she was lying but i didn't want to ask her
"hes so big now"
"we should go to sleep" she told me
i nodded giving alessio a kiss on his forehead
"there's a guest room over the-"
"i want to sleep with you" i blurted out
she was taken back from my words but agreed
"ok"
i wrapped my arms around her but stopping midway when i felt her tense up
"can i put them there?"
"mhm"
i proceeded to wrap my arms around her small figure bringing her into my chest. i watched as she closed her eyes leaning her head deeper into my chest. i wanted to say i love you but i didn't know if it was the right thing.
i stared at her for a few more minutes admiring her. i noticed that she still had the necklace i gave her. i was happy. i finally felt happy. and i wasn't going to let it go this time.
