Adalind's P.O.V.

I walk downstairs and see my mom passed out on the couch and I roll my eyes. She must be drinking that means dad is sleeping with Ms. Johns again. You see Ms. Johns is my theatre teacher, she's a slut, so to forget his infidelities my mom drinks her life away yet she tries to act like we are the most perfect family in the world. NOT. Also to top the list my brother Connor is a drug addict. I have no escape, plus my mom and dad punch my stomach when I "back talk", and I cover my stomach so it doesn't look like I am being beat at home. When we go in public it's like 'PLACES EVERYONE PLACES BE FUCKING PERFECT'.

I have one thing I hold dear graduating at the end of the year I am a Senior in high school. The worst thing is my mom tries to set me up with the fucking neighbor kid and he is a straight up douche his name is Calum, he likes me a lot. He isn't like rude he is just a huge D-BAG and I am expected to act like I like him, and I don't I TOLERATE him.
