"Ugh. You know it's really hard to stay frustrated when he looks at me like that."I softly think to myself. "Look at you like what exactly?" He said and I freeze as apparently he can read thoughts now too. "Wha..nothing! It's nothing..Just quit staring at me like you're trying to see into my soul or something." I say stubbornly. His eyes flicker with..with guilt. I assumed I was seeing things and let it pass for now. "Why do we have to go? Better yet, why'd you save me?!" I yell irritated and confused. He looks at me straight in my eyes this time, his gaze overpowering me. "The better question is why did you jump? Why didn't you want to be saved?" He says softly. I look at him as if he's grown a second head and yell harshly, tears stinging my eyes again"To die! Why is that so hard for everyone to understand?! I just...I just want away from everyone and everything. All this life has given me is abuse, pain, and..and-" I broke down then. "Alduin" I hear a voice say. "Wha-what?" "My name is Alduin...I thought it would be best if you knew my name. A sign that you can trust me. With anything troubling you." He says sincerely.

"Oh..ok I guess. I just have so many questions...what the hell is going on here?" I say, reality starting to come back to me. "Again, all will be explained in due time. We must hurry, its not safe here. Come and I will tell you what I can." Alduin says, his voice dripping with sudden acknowledgement. "But...oh fuck it. Fine." I say, giving up on arguing with him for the moment. Alduin walked towards me then, putting two fingers to my forehead with one hand and then did the same for himself with the other. "Close your eyes, and think of nothing. Then kneel." He informs me. I sigh then, closing my eyes and thinking of nothingness and the peace I got from the still, desolate space that was my mind. I kneeled and Alduin did so as well, and then all he said was "Here we go." At that moment, the world around us disappeared, everything covered in this intense blue light, brighter than Alduin's sapphire-like eyes, my body feeling light as a feather, the feelings I had felt foreign but I couldn't find it in myself to care and then it all stopped. My eyes shot open as I realized I had been holding my breath, my chest burning and my head light from the lack of oxygen. "We're here" I hear Alduin mutter in front of me. The sight that was before me was like no other.

"Welcome to the Citadel of Spirits, we should be safe here for now."

[Author's Note: Sooo sorry for the short chapter, it's hard to write when I have like zero free time. I'll try to get another chapter or two up by tonight or tomorrow. Hope you enjoy, and umm yeah.]
