Part 38 (funeral part 1)

When we got to the cemetery i met with my mum because I wasn't able to see her because she's been so busy. She ran to me when I got out of the car and my eyes started to water
Mum - Oh my gosh. B-baby are you okay. I'm so sorry
Heaven - Mum I'm fine. It's just a little painful

Why am I lying. I'm in so much pain right now.
Mum - How are you holding up
Heaven - I can't believe she's gone mumma. I miss her so much. Everyone does
Mum - I know. I miss her too, she was like a second daughter to me
Heaven - She should be here with us mummy
I broke down into my mothers arms as she cradled me
Mum - Shh sh, I know I know baby. I'm sorry
Vinnie then came walking over to my mother and I.
Vinnie - Hey
Mum - Oh Vinnie how are you holding up darling
Vinnie - I'm...okay. How about you?
Mum - Trying to stay strong.
Vinnie went in for a hug with my mum
Vinnie - I know how you feel
They both pulled out of the hug and Vinnie held hands with me
Heaven - You guys go into the church I'm going to go and talk with Aunty Gigi
Vinnie - I'll go with you
Mum - Okay darling. See you in church
My mum kissed my cheek and waved at Vinnie then walked into the church with Alex and Ari.
I slowly made my way to Aunty Gigi because it was very hilly and I didn't want to pull or break any of my stitches and I'm in so much pain right now.
Vinnie helped me walk up to Aunty Gigi because I was still trying to regain my balance.
Aunty Gigi saw me walking up to her with Vinnie and rushed over to me
Heaven - Aunty Gigi. I'm so sorry
Aunty Gigi - crying* come here
I limped over to Aunty Gigi and she hugged me and tears rolled down my cheeks
Aunty Gigi - There's no need to be sorry, she would never leave anyone in a place that's on fire. She would never leave any of her friends in a harmful position. My brave baby is in a peaceful place now
Heaven - There's something I didn't tell everyone
When I looked back at Vinnie his face looked puzzled as well as Aunty Gigi's
Aunty Gigi - ...
Heaven - Sh-she found me. She on the opposite end of the toilet door. The door was jammed and I was already um er
Aunty Gigi - Heaven honey it's okay
Heaven - N-no, she was shouting my name and i told her to get out of the building but she said that she was going to try and find a way to open the door, I heard her scream *sniff/crying* a-and it went silent. I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry Aunty Gigi
Aunty Gigi - Listen. Listen, it's not your fault my daughter, your best friend made a choice. We are all going to miss her so much but she's a hero. My hero. Never blame anything like this on yourself
Aunty Gigi hugged me one more time before wiping away my tears and walking inside
Vinnie came up behind me and hugged me from behind
Vinnie - Cmon. Let's walk to the church
I wiped off my other tears on my cheeks and turned around then walked to the church with Vinnie.
I sat at the front with Donae and Avani and Aunty Gigi went up to give a speech
Aunty Gigi - crying* Alice Zamira Hadid, my hero. I just want to start of by saying I miss you so much, you should be the one talking at my funeral not me talking at yours. You always told me "mummy Gigi the day i leave this earth I want it to be celebrated, my time on earth is done and I'm onto a new one."
Words cannot express how much I miss you. One day we will be reunited again just hang in there for me okay. I love you.
Aunty Gigi walked down back to her. Seat on the front row with my mum and Blue and I walked up to talk.
Heaven - H-hi everyone *laughing/crying*Im just trying to get myself together for this speech. I'm Heaven...
I looked in the crown and saw Aunty Gigi smiling at me and blue
Heaven - When I first met Alice I was so scared that she wasn't going to like me, she was so opening and accepting especially because I was the person that would never and I mean never speak to anyone
The audience then let out a little laugh
Heaven - When I moved from London her and blue were like my missing pieces that I needed. Alice made me who I am today.
Alice, Blue and I made a Rule, us or nothing, I never doubted that for a second and that rule is still standing. My girls. Alice is still with us and she will be looking over Aunty Gigi. I love you so much Alice
Blue - Alice is crazy. She could lighten anyone's mood. Lemme tell you something you could literally be crying your eyes out in a room and she would walk in and you would start laughing because it was me in the room crying my eyes out. Plot twist
The audience began to smile and laugh
Blue - Before Alice, Heaven and I transition to online school we were walking to school and Alice literally tripped over air, she tripped over nothing and she looked up and just smiled at us like she put on a performance.
Heaven - What about the time when she cut her hair above her shoulders and got extensions and kept on getting them until her hair grew to the same length again.  Sorry Aunty Gigi
Aunty Gigi let out a little gasp and started laughing with my mum and Aunty Beyoncé at the front
Blue - If Alice was here right now the one person that she would be with right now is Donae. Alice loved you so much, you two clicked the moment you met and you guys are inseparable.
Blue - Rest easy baby
Blue helped me to my seat and then sat down next to jaden the row behind me.
