"Goodmorning baby it's time for daycare mommy gotta go to work." I told my daughter.
" Ugh I not go mommy, I tired." She said pulling the cover over her head.
"C'mon baby mommy has work , I promise you gone have fun." I said picking her up and taking her to the bathroom to get dressed.
After getting Alaya dressed I went and got myself together for work. I work at the hospital as a speech language pathologist , I love working with kids who have autism.
I walked in the kitchen to see my bestfriend Kayla and Alaya eating cereal.
" Well it's nice to see y'all eating and didn't offer to fix me anything." I said walking in as I gasped and put my hand on my heart.
" You got two hands bitch use them." Kayla said.
"ooohhh teetee you say bad word." Alaya said pointing her finger at Kayla. " Teetee sorry baby." Kayla said kissing her cheek, and she just giggled.
"Okay Laylay it's time to go baby"
" I take my picture mommy?"
I laughed and grabbed my phone to take her picture.

After dropping off Alaya I made it to work just in time. I usually work an 8 hour shift four days out of the week and be off for two days. Kayla and I share an apartment together we have been bestfriends since college along with our other bestfriend Bry'lon. When I first moved to Houston I was alone with Alaya and we were homeless. I got pregnant with Alaya at 16 and ended up having her at 17. She is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I moved to Houston after graduating high school.
How Alaya was conceived and why I left New Orleans is a long story for another time.

Kayla and Bry is definetely the party ones out of our trio. I'm definetely a homebody. I really dislike people so I just stay out the way all I do is work, and go home to Alaya.
After a long day at work I picked up Alaya, got us some food and headed home. Thank God I was off for the weekend cause this had been a long week.
