The Fea was a very strange race of beings. For years people were fascinated by their magic and long life spans, but also in what was known as their 'souls' or 'soulbonds'.
These soulbonds were usually made between two Fea, but, very rarely, could be formed between a Fea and a mortal. The bonds were always present in each half of the soul, from birth until eventual death.
Now, not all fea experience soulbonds in the same way, there are four different types of soul bonds:
1) The most common type and simply known as 'typical': This type of bond is basically a very strong romantic connection between two individuals. These happen between all genders and no two bonds are the same as each pair expressed love differently.
2) Platonic Soulbonds: This type of soulbond is basically a very strong friendship. Many things from the typical soulbond carry over, such as the fact that it is lifelong.
3) Disgust Soulbonds: Not all soulbonds are positive, some represent the hatred burning between two individuals. These soulbonds are marked by a fierce, intense, and sudden hatred for an individual for both of their natural lives.
4) Multiple Soulbonds: This type of soulbond is a combination of all three (not for one person, its not normal for a person to hate their partner) or two of the past types. This is considered rare and those who possessed it were heralded as stronger than your average fea.
No conclusive answer to how or why the fea had these bonds has been reached. The current question is, how will they effect this war?
