The beginning

Catra's POV 

*beep beep beep*

I hear my alarm go off but chose to ignore it. That is until my foster sister came in.

"WAKE UP CATRAAAAA!" Lonnie yelled while busting through my door. "5 more minutes" I groaned. "No wake your ass up and get ready, we need to start packing." she said while ripping my blankets off of me. I look at the clock 6:30 am "Ughhhhh fine" I get up and head to the bathroom to take a shower. I get out of the shower and through on a black sports bra, a flannel, some black ripped jeans, and my black converse. I look in the mirror I had bags under my eyes "I knew I shouldn't have went out last night" I brush my teeth and my long hair. I go to my room and start packing.

After I finished packing I look at my watch 7:48 am 'sweet I still got time to eat breakfast' I thought. I go down stairs and my foster mom offered me some pancakes I gladly take them and start eating them like my life depended on it. "Whoa slow down your going to choke" my foster mom chuckled. I swallowed and took a drink of my orange juice. "Sorry ma you know how much I love my pancakes" I said laughing lightly. I went to take some more but my mom slapped my hand away. "ah, ah, ah, leave some for your sister". "fine" I pouted she chuckled.

After eating me and Lonnie decided it was time to head out. We hugged mom and said our goodbyes but mom being mom needed time to take it all in. "Ma we gotta goo" I said. "I know, I know but I can't believe my babies are going to college. Seems like It was just yesterday I was taking you guys home" she said teary eyed. I scoffed and rolled my eyes as she pulled us into yet another hug.

"Yeah, yeah we love you to ma" I said finally getting into the car. "I LOVE YOU GUYS DRIVE SAFE CALL ME WHEN YOU GET THERE" she yelled while we drove off. I sighed and put in my headphones playing girl in red looking out the window. 'College. who woulda thought?' I thought.

We got to the college. It was HUGE, we walked in and got out assigned rooms. "Damn we didn't get the same room" Lonnie said disappointed. "Yeah well we're on the same hall" she nodded and we started taking our stuff to our rooms. I walked to my dorm and looked at the number 420. I took out my keys and turned the doorknob expecting to see my new roommate but was met with an empty room. 'Guess there not here yet' I thought. I shrugged and started settling in. 

About an hour later I finished I was about to take a nap but the doorknob started turning. 'welp I guess I'm about to meet my new roommie.' The door opened up....
