Ok first off I want to apologize for not writing sooner, I haven't had the inspiration to write. And second I am very aware that this is late but enjoy it anyway.
Catra's POV
"Ughhhh" I groan laying on the couch listing to Sweater Weather, when Is she coming back I think to myself as the door swings open.
My ears perk up and in walks in Adora with some... Flowers? chocolates? what the- Oh shit. I look down at my phone and my eyes go wide fuck fuck fuck fuck, it valentines day and I totally forgot to get her anything. My thoughts were interrupted my Adora and her dorky grin.
"Happy valentines day, Catra" she says handing my the flowers and chocolates
"T-thanks Adora" I say turning red
"You're welcome, I didn't know what kind of chocolate you would prefer so I just got the verity pack." she pecks me on the lips how am I supposed to tell her that I didn't get her anything I feel my ears go down.
"Hey.." she puts a finger under my chin
"What's wrong? I-Is it to much? I could take it back if you want-"
"Nononono I-its not that" I put the stuff down on the table
"its just- I- I forgot today was valentines day and I didn't get you anything" I drop my head and play with my fingers.
She pulls me in a hug
"hey, hey its ok. I have you and that's enough for me"
She pulls back and smiles I cant help but smile back at her, and playfully push her shoulder
"You're so corny" I chuckle
"Yeah but you like it~" she teases and I turn red
"W-whatever" she giggles and pulls me in for a kiss
I am going to get you something Adora just you wait
Time skip~
"I'll be back" I said grabbing my jacket
"Aw where are you going" she pouts making me chuckle
"relax I'm just heading over to sparkles dorm"
"Oh.. Okay!"
"Love you" I open the door
"Love you to!" she yells as I head out
I run over to Glitters dorm and knock
"Yo Sparkles you in there?"
"Coming~" she opens the door
"Whats up?"
"I need your help with something" she gasps
"You need my help?" I sigh
"yes but if you tell anyone I asked for it I will personally kill you with my bare hands" I point a finger at her. She puts her hands up in defense "Noted. What happened?"
"I... Might've forgotten today was valentines day and didn't get Adora anything" She gasps loudly
"WHAT?!"
"I know I know.. she says its okay but you know her" she nods
"Yeah stubborn as always, Well what are you gonna do?"
"That's why I came over here I need help with some ideas.. I want it to be special"
"Awww" I hear arrow say from the other room
"What the- what are you doing here?" he comes out the room
"Its valentines day what do you expect" he raises a brow
"Oh yeah true"
"Anyways..."
"Right yeah so what should I do?"
"Hmm how bout taking her to a movie?" Sparkles says
"Nooo, that's to simple"
"Hmm.." Bow gasps
"I GOT IT!"
he tells about his idea and I think about it and realize its perfect
"BOW YOUR A GENIUS" I pull him into a hug
"Are you hugging me?"
"Yeah whatever don't get used to it" I pull back, he chuckles
"Now lets go set this thing up"
Adora's POV
I woke up from a nap and saw it was 8:57
"Hm catra hasn't came back yet" I mumble to myself. I walk to my room and see a note it read,
Dear Adora,
Meet me by the docks outside of the campus for a surprise
Love, Catra :p
I smile at the note and quickly get dressed, grabbing my coat and keys and heading out of campus to the docks like instructed.
I wonder what she has planned I think to myself pulling up to the docks seeing catra leaning against the railing gazing at the water. I hop out the car and walk over to her, hugging her from behind. she chuckles
"Hey adora~" I smile into her shoulder
"Hey catra"
"Thanks for coming" I unwrap from her and go next to her leaning against the railing like her
"Yeah of course but, what are we doing out here? did we have to meet so far?"
"Yes now sit over there" she points to the little seat" I got over there and sit
"Now close your eyes"
"are you gonna undress?" I smirk
"NO! and close your eyes" she blushes
I giggle and close my eyes, I feel her hand go to mine and flip it over placing something in it. Hmm feels... square?"
"Open" she says with her sweet voice that I Adore so much" I open one eye slowly before I open the other one. She gave me a.... button?
"Catra what is this?" I look up at her
"Go ahead, press it!" she winks, I blush and press it
FIUUUUU
I jump as fireworks are set off saying I love you Adora
More are being set off around it, I look up my mouth open grinning. I feel Catra watching me
"Happpy valentines day Adora"
I turn my head to lock gazes with her, I smirk and chuckle "Who's corny now?"
She blushes and playfully pushes me "S-shut up" I laugh wrapping my hand around her waist
"I'm kidding I love it... just like I love you" I smile causing her to smile in return and I pull her in for a kiss as even more fireworks go off. We pull apart and she rests her head on my shoulder as I rest my head on hers, we watch the fireworks go off.
